I'm really surprised that they did a live appearance so soon. I thought for sure everything would have been dubbed with maybe one or two songs. I find that this is a very interesting move on SW's part.

I'm watching right now with some boy band on stage. I have a feeling that any song/skit done by Elmo and the gang will have been pre recorded.

Henson does have a slue of newer characters from there newer pre school PBS kids shows. Us older fans though could kind of care less. Unless we have kids who watch the shows.

The fantasy films do have a following but for me it's more about the advances in technology then the characters. Bear in it's self is also one of those as well.
