Yay, thanks a bunch! That's definitely the right song, although, for some reason I thought I remembered men singing it.
Oops, I actually totally forgot about that thread. :o
"Celebration" was part of the medley, but i'm talking about the song they played before it. The one at the very beginning that sounds vaguely like the "How I Met Your Mother" theme song.
"La de da de dum la de da de dum, what's the name of that sooong!"
Ahem, Hola everyone, I was listening to this awesome orchestra do a medley of famous 80s pop songs. I recognize almost all the songs except for the first one. I feel like i've heard it before, it sounds extremely familiar, but...
As far as I can tell, there weren't very many Muppet connections besides one puppeteer named Sarah Burgess who is now a puppeteer on "The Furchester Hotel". It doesn't look like Noel or Tyler ever worked on this show. The mayor was played by someone named David Mathew Feldman, who has very...
Yeah, it was only like four dollars, so I guess the Muppet collector in me told me "You already own 'Follow That Bird', you have to own both of the Sesame Street movies".
I'll probably never actually watch it, still nice to have on the shelf though.
Meanwhile i'm planning on watching Follow...
According to this article, Warner Bros is still planning to make a Sesame Street film: http://collider.com/sesame-street-movie-update-21-laps/
The updates have been coming, but very slowly. I Hope we get a much bigger update soon.
Death death death, I hope this show dies a horrible, disgraceful death!
That's what i've always wanted from the show, that's what everyone thought they were getting, a parody of other DC properties, especially a parody of the 2003 Teen Titans show. But that's not really what we got. At times I...
I was actually hoping it would end after the third season. I actually enjoyed most of the first season, but after that the show just got progressively sillier and over the top, and not in a good way. The third season being the worst one.
Not to mention the fact that this show is always on...
One thing I don't like about this show is Bubbles. I don't hate her in this show at all but, she seems to have lost most of her personality. She's more boring than she was on the original show and seems to mostly be a sidekick to Blossom and Buttercup.
Well it's not exactly part of the series as it is a follow up to the series. It's kind of a standalone story. Same characters, but this book doesn't actually expand much on the plots of the original books and there will be no stories after it. So it's basically a pointless epilogue to the series.
BTW, thanks so much for mentioning the blog on this thread and one of the Muppets threads. I just started reading it and i'm really really enjoying it :)
Yes, it's always been ahead of it's time. For instance, no other show before them had such a diverse cast. But on the other side of things, would we have gotten a song like "Wet Paint" on the show today? No, because the song is too 80s. The show has to stay relevant and to do that they, yes they...
Well no, at this point, since Alan and Chris have been the cast members who have appeared the most out of all the cast members it makes sense to keep them. Those are the guys that kids would recognize at this point. And another thing, to put it bluntly, the older cast members are, well, old...
That's probably for the best. At this point I can imagine Sesame not wanting an even bigger backlash than they're already getting. No need to add insult to injury by announcing Susan and Gina's departure as well.
