In other acting troupes full of highly-talented people, you'd expect a lot of back-stabbing. But with the Muppets - they all had each other's back.
But on the shoe issue, Richard has my complete sympathy; I only wear dress-type shoes when I absolutely have to, and only if I'm not going to do a...
Yeah - I really want to see some of those photos. And that book sounds really, really interesting.
Well, the saying is that a person is only really dead when no one remembers or cares about him or her anymore. If that's the case, Richard's not going to completely kick the bucket anytime soon.
(Beige is playing chess with Scooter)
Beige : (to the Newsman) We'll be watching your career with great interest.
Scooter: Try watching the board; it's been your move for ten minutes.
Beige: Right, right. (moves king's side bishop) Check.
Storyteller: (doing crossword) Quick, four across...
Yeah - Steve has done what most Muppet fans only dream about (with alarming frequency, of course).
It was back in August of '06, and it made the most waves in the RHLC. Amanda came on one Friday night, introduced herself as one of Richard's nieces...and it was like somebody blew a whistle...
Hmm...the clips don't work for me. Then again, my computer's hooked up to a really temperamental network at the moment.
On a different topic: one thing really struck me when I was listening to the latest MuppetCast. According to Steve, Jane told him that going over all those memories of...
Yeah, they're peonies. When Richard's niece Amanda dropped into the forum a while back, she said some of Richard's ashes were sprinkled over the peonies at the Hunt house. And at Jim's memorial, when Richard got onto the subject of flowers and nature, he mentioned that he was especially fond of...
Listen to what?
If it's MuppetCast episode 70, I just had a listen...and I think it'll make any Richard or Muppet fan salivate like one of Pavlov's dogs.
Oh, wow...Steve, you're going to make a lot of listeners really happy when you bring up the audio. I think episode 70 only whetted everyone's collective appetite.
And it all sounded really great - and I admire you for still having enough strength at 11:30 at night to be able to record...
Let's not forget the "explosive" ending to the Koozebanian Mating Ritual sketch back in season 1. I'll bet there was a lot of laughing and giggling and nudge-nudging going on backstage during that one.
Yes, I'll rate Raquel Welch's duet with Fozzie as a "cheeky" moment...wonder how much...
Well, I guess the ongoing Muppet antics up in heaven needed an executive producer...
In the Land of Gorch tonight, there will be a 20-tarpit-and-smoking-crater salute, and Scred will sing "Thanks for the Memories..." which will be cut short when Ploobis puts him in a headlock to shut him up...
(musical interlude time)
(Lava lamp is set up on center table, in lieu of a campfire. Gang is seated on sofa and in easy chairs, with mugs of hot chocolate, and Scooter has his guitar.)
Scooter: (singing) It's in every one of us...to be wise,
Find...your...heart, open up both your eyes...
(gang is watching The Thomas Crown Affair - the original one - and eating pizza)
Storyteller: Mmm...goodness, but aren't we smug, walking around the study like that (pause) Scooter, you've got sauce on your lip.
Scooter: (grabbing napkin) Well, yeah, he's several K richer and he's making...
You bet - there's a tantalizing (written) preview of what's to come on future episodes. Steve, looks like you've really outdone yourself this time. But then again, that's what I said about episode 41...
So Jane's husband's name is Arthur Miller - don't suppose they mean the one who wrote...
Beige: (singing) How much is that doggie in the window...
Storyteller: So what's this about Steve running around New Jersey for the better part of last weekend?
Scooter: Well, the rumors were true...about where he went and who he visited.
Erin: And he's promised us a lot of really sweet stuff...
Yeah, the acoustics could have something to do with it; they can make a person's voice sound higher or deeper.
Like I've said a few times, I've noticed the same thing during Richard's spot on "Down at Fraggle Rock." 'Course, in that case, it's probably one of three things: the acoustics, the...
Same here, heralde; truth be told, I've always been a little (okay, maybe a lot) suspicious of so-called teen idols these days.
Just had a listen to MuppetCast 69 - and that's right, I think Muppets On Location was done in 1991 or something. So it certainly was one of Richard's last cracks at...
Got your messages, Steve - glad to hear Jane liked the quilt!
It's a busy night on the forum - when I last checked the main page, there were probably a hundred names in the active users box.
