That was pretty great. And, is that Pendleton Ward? It sounds like they actually got Pen to sing the song!

    Old Nick Appreciation Thread

I honestly don't remember being aware that their was an election going on in 2004, I guess because I was only five. But I definitely remember the presidents song that Nick had during that time: It would be cool if they started airing this again, just update it a bit. Yeah, it's just a way of...

Why did Sesame Street cast members leave?

Hmm, it just ocurred to me that soon, Alan could qualify as the grandpa figure on the show. He's only six years younger than Will Lee was when the show started and around the same age that David Smyrl was when he joined the show. I was born only the year after Alan joined the show...

Why did Sesame Street cast members leave?

Just because they were looking for someone younger when they cast Alan, that doesn't mean they let David Smyrl go because of his age. It could just be that he left on his own terms and the producers simply decided to try something different.

Why did Sesame Street cast members leave?

David Smyrl was one i've wondered about for a long time. They never even explained what happened to his character. It was just one episode he was their and the next episode Hooper's had a new owner. I also kind of wonder about the original actor who portrayed Mr. Handford, Leonard Jackson, he...

September 24 should be International "Kermit Day"

Sounds awesome. My family and I had originally planned to go on a camping trip this weekend but we had to cancel. Since they wanted something fun to do, I plan to pitch this idea to them and hopefully they'll go for it. It's gonna be a little hard to convince my mom to watch a Muppet movie, but...

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Yeah, for some reason, Big Bird and Oscar always sound weird whenever Caroll pre records the voices. I know David Rudman has said it's hard for him to do his characters' voices if he doesn't have the puppet in his hand. So maybe that's what's going on, doing the voices aren't natural to the...

September 24 should be International "Kermit Day"

I just got this idea while reading one of @JimAndFrank 's posts on another thread. We all know Jim Henson's birthday is September 24, but what you might not know is, Kermit's other performer, Steve Whitmire shares a birthday with Jim. So, since both of the Kermits birthdays are on the same day...

Oh, holy spit! How could I forget that's this week?!? What kind of a Muppet fan am I?! :o And I think "Kermit Day" should be an official holiday amongst the internet Muppet fan community.
