Ah dang it! I'm kicking myself for missing this! We we out of town today.
I love Caroll so much, so the fact that I missed a chance to interact with him, even if indirectly, i'm super upset. Oh well, at least I can still watch it now :smirk:
Nothing wrong with that. In fact, animals are some of the most loyal friends you can have.
I wish I had been able to be closer with my dog, but he was kind of psycho, so we had to return him to the shelter. Thankfully, our dog (Dusty) has a new owner out in the country (heh, poor suckers).
Anyone caught up with the show yet?
So far, the episodes have actually been pretty heavy. What, with Greg being kidnapped and almost forced to mate, Pearl posing as a slave. We finally got to see Blue Diamond, as well as several amethysts.
And, wow. The origins of the human zoo is not...
Well, Snagglepuss was pretty obviously gay in the original, so not much change there.
My only issue with it is, it seems to lack the wackiness of the TV show. That's what I don't get. Why make it if it's going to be completely different from the source?
But like I said, all we get to see is one...
Update: Ooh, dang, look at that price! It's times like this that I wish I had a job. :(:

If I go, I will definitely tell you guys every single detail of the event, so it'll hopefully feel almost like you were there. Although, I really need to look into it first to see if it's practical for me to go. And I need to check ticket prices and all that.
:eek::eek:
Oh my gosh, this is amazing! It's wonderful that the other Muppeteers are getting some spotlight. And i'm really glad they were able to make this before Jerry passed.
And hey, this is in Austin, I only live about a couple of hours from Austin, so maybe i'll be able to go. And since...
Yeah, it's usually just random lip-syncing, but I was just saying that sometimes I raise my hand when i'm alone.
And on the subject of performing with the left hand, I noticed a few behind the scenes photos from the 70s with Muppeteers performing more than one character at a time, during group...
Haha! So glad i'm not the only one that does the puppet thing. But sometimes i'll just do it in my room or off to the side where no one can see me. But it's really embarrassing when somebody notices you have your arm raised up in the air, and your hand is moving, and your just mumbling to...
Yeah, I wonder who's idea it was to have all three of them have a song together.
I'm pretty certain that was Frank playing all three of them at the beginning of the song, since none of them appeared together until the end of it. And in the end of the song, I think he was puppeteering Bert. You...

I know not many of you watch Doctor Who, but this made me sad. Looks like the current Doctor is leaving after this upcoming season:

Eric hasn't played Cookie on the show, but I think I read somewhere that he was originally considered to take over the role, since he already had Frank's other characters. But the writers wanted it to be easy for Grover and Cookie to interact, so they got David to do it instead. Now, i'm not...
I know this is a pretty old post, but this is something i've been thinking about ever since I first watched the movie over a year ago...
Several people who worked with Jon have noted that he was great at holding grudges, but I definitely don't get the impression he had a very sour relationship...
It has many names. I've always heard the term "key harmonica" used, but it can also be referred to as a melodica, a melody horn, a blow-organ or a pianica:

Happy Birthday MC! Been a member for about a year and a half, been reading the forum for almost 10 years now, and I still love this place.
Well, for the first one, i'd really love to see a special about The Electric Mayhem. Maybe their origins, that'd be cool. It would be fantastic to finally...
