I mean, i've kind of been worried about that myself. Steve, for instance, had to gradually push Rizzo and Bean Bunny to the sidelines after Kermit started to regain more prominence.
Just watched the video and actually think it's really good. I mean, the voice isn't great but it's not bad. Also, he has similar speaking patterns to Matt's other characters, so that's interesting, but overall, everything else was really good. It kind of sounds like both Steve and Jim's Kermits...
Wow, I was not expecting this news today.
Obviously this is Matt's first time playing Kermit, so I won't judge it yet, and neither should anybody else. Matt is going to grow into the role, just like Steve did. Don't forget, Steve's first performance was kind of meh too. Heck, even Jim continued...

Oh yeah, I saw that. At first when I saw it in my recommended I was worried, like "What, did Chris say something offensive? Was the last season of Broadchurch worse than The Room?" But nope, turns out it was just another fanboy complaining about things that haven't happened yet. :p
I think there are actually quite a few people working on it who worked on GF, including Dana Terrace. I only know who she is because she recently hosted a charity live-stream with Rebecca Sugar, Ian JQ, and Alex Hirsch.
