Netflix, do your stuff! The Magic School Bus gets new series.

OMG, you're right, I literally always forget Tim was even on the show. Considering he hardly had any lines a lot of the time, maybe he could have more of a shy, introverted, book worm-ish type personality. Or maybe he could be more of a quiet thinker who seems like their's not much going on in...

Netflix, do your stuff! The Magic School Bus gets new series.

Like I said (and you can see in the trailer) Lily will make an appearance as the original, but she won't be a major character.

Just for the Halibut: The JimAndFrank Blog

This is great. I hate it when people think Muppet performing is just playing with puppets, it's seriously hard and physically taxing (if you're doing it right). And I know we've mentioned this before but, I hate when people think the Muppeteers are just voice actors. And I also really hate when...

I am, i'm the oldest... in pig years.

Where would you think Sam the Eagle would position himself in the current political climate ?

I honestly don't think Sam would be more leaning towards the left or the right. I think he'd just be a very old fashioned old man type (:attitude:"Why paper bags at the grocery store instead of plastic ones?" "Get off my freshly cut lawn!" etc.). And he would be strictly patriotic; no concern...

Netflix, do your stuff! The Magic School Bus gets new series.

They finally released a trailer: Interesting... so, the reason Kate McKinnnon is Ms. Frizzle now is because she's playing a different Ms. Frizzle, she's playing the original's sister. But, don't worry, the original Frizzle makes a guest appearance (still played by Lilly Tomlin). Also...

    The "You know what?" thread

Oh yeah, it's definitely influenced by The Monkees. I always loved how BTR and Scott Fellows' other Nick show Ned's Declassified felt like cartoons but still really worked as live-action. That movie will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first Muppet movie I ever...

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

I don't think we should be fighting to get Steve back, that would accomplish nothing. Disney isn't changing it's mind anytime soon. However, I do agree with Steve saying that they not only need better writers, but the performers need to have more say in what their characters do. And, like I said...

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

In my opinion he actually sounded a lot more like Steve in that clip. His mannerisms are very good and i'm quite impressed. Meanwhile, it seems a bit odd that they interviewed them only for the clip to be so short. Hopefully a longer version will be released somewhere.

Video: Matt Vogel premieres as Kermit in Muppet Thought of the Week

Actually, i've gotta say, these videos have started to grow on me.

Video: Peter Linz premieres as Herry

I think it's been there since the 90s when Herry became more obviously a kid. It's just slightly more pronounced now.

    Characters still on sesame street

Well, Mumford appeared on and off until 2005, but he did return one time in 2012. I'm not entirely sure if the writers intended for that to be a comeback, or if it was just for the episode, but oddly enough, he hasn't been back since.

Video: Peter Linz premieres as Herry

It's officially official. This is Peter's first official performance as Herry Monster. So happy he's back, and i'm glad Peter finally has more major/recurring characters:

    Characters still on sesame street

Yep, all of those characters are still on the show, although Snuffy and Baby Bear usually only appear once or twice per season nowadays.

    Video: Sesame Street's #ShareTheLaugh Challenge

I know i'm a little late here but, there's no time like the present, right? The past few weeks, Sesame Street has been uploading this amusing series of videos where Muppets/ guest stars tell jokes. The most recent one features the official return of Herry Monster (now played by Peter Linz)...

And, yet another one! So, i'm assuming we'll be getting one on Friday as well. Uncle Deadly has definitely been the highlight of these this week. XD

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

Hm, i'm thinking "dinner guest #1" is Eric Jacobson. He's been with Sesame for about 19 years now, and it would especially make sense because they worked together very closely for many years. Anyway, I can't say that I trust the source, nor can I say that I don't trust them, however the full...

Where's the love for Rocky and Bullwinkle?

Hm, that makes sense. Well, she did a great job.
