The fact that they use the word "melonfarmer" to bleep out a certain cuss word on TV. They only do it on a few channels (mostly movies) but to hear a guy say,
"YOU MELONFARMER!" when you know he's gonna say the real thing because you've seen the movie before is a hilarious experience!
Since I'm going to be 18 in a few weeks, I'm reliving my childhood with this compilation of 2000s kid show theme songs. I watched most of these. iCarly was the chizz when I was a tween. The Liberty's Kids one still makes me tear up to this day.:
What got you into Muppets, Whose Line?, The Brady Bunch, HTF, Simpsons, and Family Guy? Here's my answer:
Muppets - I have watched them since I was a newborn baby practically as my my mom showed me Sesame Street at 5-months-old and I instantly got hooked on it. I got into The Muppets and...
Have you ever been out of the United States? I never have been and have only been to 5 states in my entire life which are Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
This poem I read in English class made me cry:
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know,
By the name of Annabel Lee,
And this maiden she lived with no other thought,
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child...
On the topic of Bob's Burgers (which I know we have a thread for already), but considering this is about [adult swim] which airs Bob's Burgers, I don't want thread the about Bob's to get too off topic so I'm going to post my top 4 favorite things about Bob's Burgers right here:
1. The Comedy -...
A while back, me and my mom were talking about a girl at the library who doesn't watch Bob's Burgers and she made a joke saying "If you meet a girl who likes Bob's Burgers, she's a keeper,". We both agree that the best 4 qualities in a relationship is if she agrees with you on religion...
That episode didn't bother me, I thought it was funny, actually, a lot of the "offensive" moments are funny to me (considering I have Happy Tree Friends on my avatar, it's obvious that I have an extremely sick twisted sense of humor), but I'm just worried that his phone could go off at an...
Some kids watch stuff behind their parent's backs, like how Bart used to sneak Itchy & Scratchy in the early Simpsons episodes. I had a friend who watched practically every episode of Robot Chicken and his mom had no idea what it even was. I didn't do things like that when I was a little, but...
While it's not technically a cuss word, they got away with using the term d*ldo completely uncensored in a recent Family Guy episode. It really shocked me that they could use such a vulgar term on the air during the day (this wasn't at night either, it was on TBS right at the time most kids get...
Awh what the heck, why not listen to songs from all 3 Seth MacFarlane shows? I have a feeling WhoseLineFan will like The Brady Bunch reference at 1:15:
Somebody I know made the "You have AIDS," song from Family Guy their ringtone. Aren't they worried about offending people whenever their phone goes off (they could be at the library, grocery store, or even at the hospital visiting somebody who really does have AIDS, etc. etc.). It was a funny...
My friend (who claims to be a Family Guy fan) said that the Grim Reaper isn't a real Family Guy character. Does she even watch the show? He used to be on there a lot in the earlier seasons:
I used to like PhantomStrider, until I took an arrow to the knee:
No seriously though, as soon as I saw Happy Tree Friends on the freaking thumbnail and on the list I thought "Yup, I'm done with this guy!".
My interest in PhantomStrider is a million miles away:
