I like the ones you mentioned, but I think my favorite would be "Land of the Lost", just because dinosaurs are cool. :) I remember watching that one and "Lost Saucer" some mornings before school.
Also, the music seemed to end pretty much after Snuffy became "visible" to the adults on Sesame Street. (I'm not sure if it went away completely, but it seems to have "faded out" at about that time.)
I also tend to like "Ernie and Bert" just because that's the way I remember calling them way back when. But "Bert and Ernie" sounds just as good- their names have a "sound" that sounds OK no matter now you say it.
"Hardy and Laurel" . . . "McCartney/Lennon". . .Hmm. :) Actually, it's...
Hey wait, there's more! I recently re-added the "Mister Rogers Goodbye" clip into my favorites folder. You can find it at the link below, or visit my YouTube page at the link below that one.

Very cool, thanks for the link!
Mister Rogers is indeed missed. I'm thankful that a few PBS stations are still airing the programs. I hope that someday in the future we'll be able to see many more classic episodes from the series.
Here's a blog posting about Mr. Rogers that I sometimes...
Yes, I remember seeing that one on the Sesame Workshop site as well. It's hopefully still there, if you can do a search for "Oscar" or "Gordon," it should show up. Let us know if you can't find it!
Right - this was before my family bought a VCR, so the incomplete audio recording is all I have. That, along with a few other audio treasures that I have a feeling will soon become more available. . . :)
I know exactly what you mean. I know how tricky it can be to find time to blog (look at how rarely I update mine!), but it just seems like the stars should find the time to promote their own events. It seems like a "win-win." But obviously real life comes first. It's frustrating for us fans. We...
Hi all- I'm sorry if this is old news, but I haven't seen anything posted about it yet, so I'd like to share it with you. Bob McGrath has a blog! You can read it here:

There's only one posting so far, but hopefully this is a chance for Bob to keep in touch...
That's a good question. Hiring a good PR person can cost a bit of money, and perhaps Sesame Workshop doesn't feel the need to spend funds for that. I suppose that SW is focusing so much on the kids (and the show itself) that they don't feel the need to alert us adults to their schedule. I never...
Good question. I would guess that with all the other characters making their debut on Sesame Street, Rowlf kind of got put aside- maybe intentionally. The focus on new characters meant that some older characters had to step back. I'm just glad Rowlf got a pretty good gig with the Muppet Show...
Here are some of my favorite "missing clips"-
Bert and Maria taking an imaginary helicopter ride.
Krazy Kat cartoon about love
Fonzie and Richie from "Happy Days" learn the "cool" way to count to ten.
I'd love to see any of those again. I used to have Grover's "Still we like each...
I'm sorry I couldn't be there for the event as well, but I'm glad so many of us got the chance to be there. It was indeed a unique event that I hope we'll get to see more of.
That's for sure. And it has happened before- Back in 2007, I think, Sonia Manzano (Maria from Sesame St.) was scheduled to appear on the Today show to promote a children's book, but she was cut from the show as well.
Does anybody know if they reschedule the interviews for another day, or if...
Applejax2006 has created a new version of the "Beautiful Day monster goes through the hoop" clip, this time with an incomplete audio track provided by a certain fan who shall remain nameless. :)

Hi Karen - "Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow" is one of my favorites as well. It was available on record and cassette on "The Stars come out on Sesame Street", an album from the late 1970s or so. It's a fun album, with other great artists' performances too. You may be able to find a good used copy on...
According to the Zap2it.com TV listings, Miss Piggy will appear on the Today show February 2 on NBC to promote her new book, "The Diva Code." I'm hoping for another catfight with Meredith Vieira. :)
