Puppetry on Television, why we need Muppets!

What about the puppets from Comedy Central's TV Funhouse? I thought that show was really funny. Yeah it was crass, yeah it was crude, and yeah it was overtly dirty, sick, and twisted, BUT I LOVED IT. If you could call them puppets, do people think it was a good thing or a bad thing for...

    I'm new!

Welcome, Welcome. Please, have some chips and dip (it's left over from yesterday's welcome thread!) As for the pic, well Muppets in drag is nothing new. Waldorf wife, Astoria, was nothing but Statler in drag, same with Fozzie's Mom. It's really quite sick and twisted when you think about it!

I just broke the top ten!

I go too. Mainly to the main page, not the forum. There are a few people here that go over there I've noticed. But I'm not saying a word about my opinions of "the other place". They are mine and I best not share them. Unless of course I get goaded into it, then I'll squeal) lol! :D

Sigh, it certainly has been quite the past 24 hours without Byron hanging around. But he's making money which is good! :D

    Muppets on Fox

OK, please tell me the Simpsons isn't going bye bye this next season. Every report I heard said it was going to run at least two more years. This is one of the best shows on TV, it can't die. Matt said he'd keep it going awhile longer. How credible are these news stories?

Hmmmm, I seriously hadn't thought about it, but it would be kinda fun. Byron is the only one who is in my way, and I think I just passed him. I would be the one true MC Sr. Member here!!!!!

I just broke the top ten!

yeah it's still around. I haven't seen many episodes in a long time as I don't watch TV much anymore, but its still around. They even killed Kenny off for awhile, as they couldn't come up with new ways to kill him, and they got bored with it.

I just broke the top ten!

I beg to differ. I think South Park will carry on quite the cult following over the years. I agree when its bad its bad, but when its political and fresh and current, its great. I think it will have some timelessness to, even at its political best!

S.S. Kubricks. Warrick posted some pictures of them somewhere. They are kinda cool. I loved the Little Bird one.

    regular figures...mega sized...what about minis?

What Fisher Price 1989 muppet figures? I don't remember these. I remember some die cast figures that came out, those were a good size. Anthing the size of a smurf (and I don't mean two apples tall) is good for me! :D
