I had a fantastic "Fraggle-thon" this weekend!
Really!
I did!
It's such a thrill to have "Mokey and the Minstrels", "Fraggle Wars", "A Cave of One's Own", and "Invasion of the Toe-Ticklers" on DVD!
Really!
It is!
:excited:
My only complaint is the again all-too-obvious exclusion of...
Well it wasn't in the pitch book, because I just read it last night. lol :p I mean, I know there was no mention of an accent, and I'm 99% sure there was no mention of "hats". Maybe it was in the notebook from season 1?
Taminella Grinderfall!
Uncle Deadly rocks, and he's scary and intimidating in the Twiggy show, but after that he softens up and even takes part in sketches and songs, etc. Taminella would never relent, no sirree Bob...she's just a WITCH!
Really!
She is!
And the best Muppet villain...
Ack! I ain't even gotten to watch Season 2 yet!
Really!
I ain't!
FRYMYHIDE!!!
Thank you though!! There may be more in the future, I'm just ultra busy lately...
Well Jackie, I've never thanked anyone before for telling me my hard work "isn't of the best quality", but I think I know what you mean, lol!
Really!
I do!
:p
These are from the DVDs, I just do them with my digital camera zoomed in on "pause".
And speakin' of DVDs, here is the final...
I would accept him as some kind of "sub species/uncategorized", but I will not accept him as "humanoid" unless Henson tells us so. He looks, IMO, like he obviously has fur and thick animal-y hair and an animalistic elongated nose. Pretty mole-ish to me. And remember, Muppet animals don't always...
LOL, I so can't do that...when I get a box set of DVDs I watch every single episode first, and then I watch the bonus material. It's just completely wrong to do it "backwards" (i.e., your way) in my universe. ;)
Ahhh, okay...so 4 episodes were in "The Jim Henson Hour". And these are the ones I must've seen, seeing as I didn't grow up with HBO, which ran the other 4 episodes, plus the Greek Myth episodes.
Thanks, Count! :)
Okay y'all, I'm confused...
I have "The Storyteller" DVD and have just started watching it last night. There are 9 episodes. Then, there are "The Storyteller: Greek Myths" which I'm going to get, and are 4 episodes.
So how were these aired?
Were all 9 Storyteller shows aired independently...
I don't think he was created "on purpose" for that. I also don't think he's as similar to Ernie as some people think. Ernie's head is oval, Lew's is round. Ernie has oval eyes "stuck" on his head, Lew has round ones that are attached to it on top. I think it's the orange color that makes people...
No, we do not know that. We know that Gonzo is a "whatever", in that we certainly don't know what he is. Those who have seen MFS may choose to believe they know his species if they like, but in my Muppet universe, no one will EVER know what Gonzo is---that's the point of Gonzo!! (I'm sorry...
Well I can't wait for the release, but I don't wanna spoil it for myself by hearin' the songs already! :p
(I can't listen to it here at work anyway, lol)
But yeah, MC Radio is great!
