Read through the story today, Sara, and enjoyed it, but "whoo boy!" you guys don't flinch from the tough stuff. Glad to know Emily and Jerome had some nice times, but hate to see them go. (Wondered why Statler and Waldorf--who "always visited Emily at Christmastime" per MFC--didn't sit Jerome...
These are a few of my favorite things....
Kermit glanced at Piggy who had resumed her rather exhibitionist pose on the log, kicking up her sandaled feet and batting her eyelids playfully. Realising
she’d been caught, the unrepentant diva winked seductively at Kermit
Other people practice...
Chapter 6: The sum of the parts
In had been more than a month since Fleet Scribbler’s insidious little insinuation had garnered anyone’s interest, and life at Rainbow Productions had settled in to as close to normal as it ever would. Kermit found he liked going to work again—found new energy...
Ooh--thank you, David--how very nice of you! No, I hadn't noticed the post date (I'm bad to look up at the join date instead, or not at all), but I'm so glad to have access to these. Thanks for making these available to all of us who are new(er)!
Chapter 5: Good Remembering
Funny how often this happens, Kermit thought idly. Piggy and I try to steal away for a little couple time and end up with a whole menagerie along for the ride. Their picnic for two had turned into a full-scale party, with half the cast and crew along. Resigned...
I'm looking for character biographies--the kinds of things that would typically be found in a "script bible" for a television show, i.e. how old is the character--both WHEN was the character created AND HOW OLD is the character supposed to be (is Scooter 14 now, or 44?), who puppeteers the...
Actually, I found the scene both hilarious and oddly charming. Kermit has always been the linchpin around which the other characters orbited, and now--watching them swing around drunkenly without him--game to try, but terribly off-center--I like the little ways that they are gentle with each...
Since muppet frogs seem to be clothing-optional--maybe this was a way to help express Kermit's individuality. Better than a neck-tie, eh? (Personally, I've always found Gonzo to be a very snappy dresser....)
Howdy! I'm looking for sheet music to muppet songs, especially "The Muppet Movie" and "A Muppet Christmas Carol." Anybody know where to get such a thing? I don't mind ordering from a store, ebay, or a person if I'm sure of what I'm getting.
Would be fun to have Piggy teaching her version of French....
Nicely done, sir. Your attention to minute detail is very, um, scary and intimidating. But enjoyable!
Chapter 4: At the The Frogs
Weekend mornings were sometimes a little more leisurely at the "the Frogs" than the usual chaos on mornings where getting to the studio was necessary. Kermit came downstairs to the savory smell of brewing coffee and made his way to the kitchen after a quick stop-off...
Geez-Louise, Renee! And I was worried about my story with Kermit commenting on Piggy's leopard-print underpants! Methinks the sight of a genuinely in-the-barely-covered-by-a-hospital-gown-flesh Miss Piggy would be enough to cause ANYONE to faint. (Except maybe Animal.)
Smiles? You still there, honey? Poke, poke. (whispers to someone behind her, "Do you think we need a bigger stick?") Waiting with bated (or maybe I mean "baited") breath.
Oh, I'm just biting my nails wondering what she'll do next! Will she want Kermit to rush home, or not let anyone tell him? Will she be afraid for him to see her? Will he be filled with contrition over their argument? (Will that nasty tabloid reporter sell the story to a sleazy French...
Ooh--Piggy's getting a haircut from anywhere but an exclusive salon--hope the hospital had malpractice insurance. Good one!
Incidentally, my mother once saw a Dr. Hurte--who actually shared a practice with a Dr. Paine.
