It's just the eyes that bug me (no pun intended): "Let's strip the characters of all soul by removing their pupils!". The fact they're such a phenomena with a design flaw like that is what gets me.

You shouldn't really be surprised by this; hardly any merchandise anymore replicates characters in their truest form. Chibi/Funko Pops are in, so thank God they didn't go as overboard as that (but were clearly influenced by it). This is actually rather tame.

I hate reddit's downvote function; I get downvoted into oblivion just for having an opinion. They put a little plus next to your post like you were harassing someone or something, but in reality I was stating my opinion. It's a problem.
