YouTube is like the new music business: it's very hard to breakthrough, and I'm not sure if there's a formula for it. There's definitely a bit of luck involved.
I'm now pondering what would've happened if in 2015 they brought back the exact Muppet Show; I know it's not healthy to rest on your laurels, but what if that had been successful? Nostalgia is huge right now, and that might've done the trick; that might be the only thing people would want to see...
Oh man, imo the Muppet Central discord is perfect in population and activity, just as I'd say the same for the forum. I'm a member of some servers where a new message appears every second and it's not fun at all.

Scott, put this clip on YouTube. The world needs to see it, and it will get a bunch of...
Was Telly the whiny version in those episodes? I can just tell by how the puppet looks. Did they remodel him slightly when Marty took over?
Also, there's something about the antron fleece aesthetic of the puppets I just love:
Add me to the VHS camp:
Yes, I did learn stuff, but I was immediately more obsessed with how the puppets worked.
I think I watched way more VHS tapes over what was actually on TV at the time.
