The Texas Chainsaw Massacre kicks ***! And I'll have no one saying anything against it :). Why oh why would they remake it. The new film will never be as raw and match the intensity of the original.
And screw Hollywood for remaking The Italian Job also. The original is a classic...
Hello,
No, you'e not the only Australian around here. I don't post a huge amount anymore, but I'm always lingering.
So don't feel lonely! There's a couple of us around here.
Craig
Ah, Jamie. Me thinks you just have some deep hatred for Monsters Inc. You've been ragging on since it was released.
Just cause the guy isn't a professional actor doesn't mean he can't voice a character. If the filmmakers believe the voice is right, then the person is cast. Look at someone...
Well I'm not really related to anybody famous, but my girlfriend is related to Allan Langer.
Who's Allan Langer, you Americans may ask? Well, he's one of the greatest Rugby League footballers to ever play the game, representing the mighty Brisbane Broncos, Queensland and captaining...
You're kidding me right? Roz was easily one of the many highlights of Monsters Inc. Same goes for A Bugs Life, with that Pixar guy that voiced the caterpillar. Definately not poor voice work. Great stuff.
Craig
Yeah, I'm more of a film purist at this stage also, but I'll give digital a chance. I may change my mind in the future.
As for the Disney discussion, I wanted to put my two cents in. I certainly think Disney has lost little in the feature film department. Like most of us, I'm not...
Hi Ryan,
Yeah, I bought TTT soundtrack, mainly for the Rohan theme I talked about earlier. That, and I also love Gollum's Song, which played at the end of the film. I know a lot of people don't like it, but it does it for me. It has a real Bjork feel to it.

I thought I'd finally leave my full thoughts on The Two Towers. I've seen the film three times now, so I think I'm qualified enough to give a fairly comprehensive critique. Did I love the film? Yes. Did I enjoy it more than my 'precious' The Fellowship of the Ring? Not quite.
The Two...
Hey Cory,
I'm dying to see The Two Towers, but for some crazy freakin reason, it's not opening over here until Boxing Day - Dec. 26th! The reason being Boxing Day is always a day for a big cinema release, but it still sucks we have to wait over a week after most of the northern hemisphere...
Hey Cory,
For your information, my girlfriend is hot (at least I think so!), and she totally loves the muppets, even Fraggle Rock!
So there's hope for you yet man. :)
Craig

I've noticed also that Series 2 seem to be jumping off the shelves much quicker than Series 1 did in the Electronics Boutique stores in and around Brisbane.
Good sign for all Australian collectors.
Craig
Hey,
I just picked up the same two figures from an EB store in Brisbane. I think I prefer the Crazy Harry figure to the Floyd one. They're both fantastic. It's hard for me to say one is better than the other.
How come you're not getting the others in this series?
Craig
This site probably won't help you Luke, but for general reviews (mainly for Australian readers, as it mainly focuses in Region 4), visit www.dvdbits.com
I write for the site. It's currently going through a makeover, so be patient with it :)
