Thanks. I keep getting the title confused with Franklin and Bash, interpreting the title as Frankie and Bash.
I don't know if I'd bother checking that out, but nice to know it's good for what it is.
Come to think of it, while I do genuinely like the new Inspector Gadget series, I haven't...
I just finished what I'm hoping is the first 13 episodes of the Netflix Peabody and Sherman episodes. I've grown to like the hosting segment wraparounds, they get better after a few episodes. Like when Mr. Peabody's Parents (turns out, he was also adopted by dogs, just not talking ones) come...
Funny thing.
Years ago when Disney had Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and My Friends Tigger and Pooh, hypothetically I would have dreaded the idea (as in hypothetically if Disney were to do one of these which they never would then or now). But now that Disney Jr. has gasp quality shows like Miles from...
Toughpigs has the link and info
I'm glad to see even if he has a reduced presence on Sesame Street, he's being used for all this promotional footage for the show's jump to HBO. Telly is, no surprise if you've known me for years on this site, one of my favorite Sesame Street characters, and one...
I really hate how PBS is breaking these things up. No wonder they keep taking down Arthur content (especially unaired episodes) off of Youtube. I get when they split the episodes into 5 episodes in the Fall and 5 in the late Spring. Now it's all about splitting the episodes up into smaller...
I'm pretty pleased with the animation noms. Shaun the Sheep is there because the Academy loves Aardman as much as Pixar as far as nominations go. The fact I haven't heard of one of the animation noms (the French one) is a good sign. Anomalisa I've seen ads for lately. I'm intrigued by it, I...
This is something added in by the cable provider, I believe. Sometimes they cross advertise shows. I'm like 75% certain it's an ad the cable provider patches through. I've seen Nature Cat ads on various kid's channels myself, and they have the exact time and channel number on them.
It's annoying because it takes the most basic of research to see that HBO has had children's programming, and indeed an HBO family channel. HBO used to be the exclusive place to see movies before they hit home video (and even before home video caught on). But like I said, the clues were there...
Senior health commercials are all awful. But they're supposed to be mechanical and blandly informative. That's why we get stinkers like "Clip Art Grandma needs a kneebrace" and it's sequel ""'Urban' Clip Art Grandma needs a kneebrace." Big companies don't wish to spend advertising dollars on...
I'm sure detractors of the films will be happy to know that The Road Chip has been nominated for a couple Razzies.
I'm not going to defend the movie by any means, but this feels more like a "Holy Crap, we're annoyed with the fact this was made" nom than an actual "this is terrible and the world...
So... apparently this counts as the worst TV commercial of all time.
It's a piece of crap sure, but frankly like every other low cost crappy advertisement marketed to seniors during MeTV. But one thing makes it extra nasty. The incomprehensible actress testimony with the sound quality of a...
Sounds like all they need to do is mix up some whole grain Cheerios with some Frosted. If they don't bring it back, I'd just buy a box of each and mix them.
I found that cereal to be meh. The cereal pieces barely tasted like graham crackers and chocolate. I ot it a couple times and didn't...
The problem is the only 2-D films on their schedule were just that. A film that came out too close to Avatar and especially Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, with a not white lead. And it could have made more money had they not given the plum pre-Thanksgiving slot to Zemeckis's horrible Jim Carrey...
I can't say I'm not concerned about the content of the show from now on. I agree with the sentiment that this was always a kid's show and it was bound to go through multiple changes as it's been on an unprecedented 46 years with more to come. And a lot of these changes are cost driven...
Here's another German original.
There's apparently this pianist named Chilly Gonzales and he's in some piano battle with Elmo. Note Elmo's inexplicably lower voice.
Yeah, but now I'm wondering how much of that was intentional. Like he was supposed to eat it slowly this time for some...
I hate how the other Nick cereals are preschool show based. Kinda disappointed that their massive TMNT merchandising chest does not bare a cereal.
I'd totally grab a box of TMNT cereal if they made it. Never got the original "Ninja Nets" and turtle marbits one. Actually, come to think of it...
