I guess I should be lucky as heck to be just at the edge of the storm to not get the blizzard.
Still, not a fan of the below 30 degree temps last week.
I roll my eyes at any expression of shock and surprise that the two weren't going to converge somehow. That's like opening a bag of chips and being befuddled by the fact that chips were in the chip bag. We all should've seen it coming. I mean, egotistical loudmouth that appeals to the...
Great seeing a Grover storyline, and with Mr. Johnson too. Commenting on the pacing of the story is redundant, but at least they got a comedy 3 in with their examples. Love the Warthog puppet here. Nice of them to dig out an obscure animal puppet for the sake of plot. And a perfect Grover...
Took me a while to figure it out. The President of the Planet's voice is clearly modeled after former politician, current crackpot Jesse Ventura.
If there's one thing that I'm loving about this show, it's the odd introduction of random characters for the sake of plot like they've been there...
It's not so much Deadpool was found to be annoying so much as they wanted to shove Deadpool in the movie and when the same producers that wanted him in the movie put a leash on the character because he was upstaging Wolverine. Which, frankly, is what Deadpool would have done anyway.
Deadpool...
Kinda bummed they have Zoolander 2 going up against Deadpool. Hopefully Zoolander follows the long string of comedy movie sequel flops and the Merc with a Mouth's fanbase can prop the film up.
I'd post it, but language (it's Deadpool after all), but in a special Australia Day internet spot...
Finally able to see "King's Ransom." Nice to know that while most of the recent episodes are non-continuity, we have another chapter in the Ice King/Betty saga. Can't wait to see how her tinkering with the ice crown plays out in the series. Also, great to see that Ice King really loves/needs...
Toughpigs posted some stills of the next episode.
It sounds promising and more in line with a Muppet show plotline. I'm mixed about the producers here being humans, I'll admit. Other than that I hope they give ample time to Key and Peele. The Muppets and two of the best sketch comedians...
Okay... I cheated with this one. These were on a Cracked article, so I didn't thumb through the usual Retrowinnipeg Youtube channel.
Here's a terrible ad for a local car dealership poorly lipsynched by a bunch of uninterested Baltimore Ravens team members.
How can that awful song and...
I think we're missing the big picture here.
Henson successfully pitched a show to PBS. They have a mainstream television series again. Considering that Doozers went straight to Hulu Plus in the US, it really hurt the mainstream presence the show would have got.
Ice Age basically keeps making money because of the foreign market. They still somehow do well here, but they make a fortune overseas. The thing that bugs me is that Blue Sky is capable of making good films here and there. Though to be fair Peanuts was basically written by Schulz's sons and...
I like that they made Miss baker and especially Mr. Reese very creatively nurturing to Clarence. Especially since Mr. Reese was Freedom Cactus's biggest fan (leading to a hilarious gag at the end of him being driven to tears). That's the thing I like about the characterization of Baker. They...
I'll say what I usually say about this. If it wasn't for Spongebob, Nick would be, like, just Nick Jr. and their terrible sitcoms. Though if there is one show that deserves to get canned it's FOP. Now, I love FOP, and I even liked Sparky and Foop. But Chloe is one character too far. And...
Pfft. At least they edited the word into "freakin'"
On the other hand, Kenny Rogers's "The Gambler" has a more apropos
country fair motif. Still manages to be awkward, though.
It's not advertising that these things are good for kids, they're just advertising they exist which is...
There's literally nothing to judge by that promo, that's for sure. I'm still concerned about the changes, but concern is a healthy response to something like that. Everything can go either way.
Other than that, I noticed they shifted the timeslot so it won't compete with the completely...
The problem I have with that is, well, if they're going to gradually turn the show into a Muppet Show remake, it better the heck be really darn gradual.
While I do think the format can be tweaked to have a short skit or song here and there, I'd rather they go the 30 Rock route and show some of...
