Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
While I have only heard of Cookie Jarvis (he was pretty much an obscure, weird joke on Community that was punctuated with a reference to one of them not getting it, growing up with the Crooks), I do remember when there were 3 bakers. The other two being younger looking than Wendel. I remember...
That was one of the most dead on He-Man parodies I've ever seen. Well researched, too. Even had the same stock punching at the screen animation, as well as Skeletor's "HE-MAN?!?! NYEHHHHHHHHH!!!!" pose. Even down to the music. Peeper's theme was clearly Orko's. Even had some obviously...
Principal Brown: So, now we're friends. Do you want to share some girl stories?
Gumball: AWKWARD, AWKWARD, AWKWARD!
Darwin: YEP, YEP, YEP!
Principal Brown: Okay, I'll go first. I must say, things are going pretty well with me and Miss Simian.
Gumball and Darwin: [painful teeth gritting...
While Sesame Street is uploading like a clip or two a week, and I agree that there's not really that much of the new season to post, I'm disappointed that the HBO episodes don't even have so much as preview clips. They're clearly keeping a muzzle on this, unlike "Last Week Tonight" that at...
And Kevin Michael Richardson is in it so... there's that. Probably why I like the commercials more than I should. I'd love to see a traditional style Cookie Crisp ad with his take on the Cookie Crisp wolf.
Never really liked that character, but then again I grew up with the Cookie Crook and...
Oddly enough I haven't seen any of these other than that posted highlights bit with Big Bird and Bugs Bunny (two of my favorite "B" characters right there, but no Bullwinkle, though). I usually tune into Youtube the morning after and it gives you a "Super Bowl Ads highlights" but not so much...
I give nothing but credit for Spongebob in trying to reference the old school hosted kid's show. Simpsons basically was grandfathered in with Krusty the Klown, and that character is specifically created by Matt Groening who not only grew up watching those sort of shows but once gave a detailed...
I agree on that point. Ads have to be more obnoxious to bypass blocking software, but at the same time the more annoying ads are the reason why everyone uses them. Some sites don't even allow you to use them until you disable ad block...then the Trojan viruses start up again the second you do...
The second season will premiere at the end of this month. And the first season will be available on DVD May 10th. Also a Happy Meal promotion (with Ponies for you Bronies) probably to co-incide with the second season premiere. Unfortunately, it's just Optimus Prime (for brand reasons)...
...and now they're the latest crybabies to whine about browsers using ad block. Oh yeah, I'm the jack^%$ because I don't want Trojan Horse viruses that I don't even have to click on (how thoughtful) to infect my computer. I'm apparently Hitler because I don't want ads disguised as videos that...
Uh... this isn't exactly old Cartoon Network, but I don't know where to put it.
But I'm sure everyone has heard of the "Lakewood Turbo Plaza" (or whatever combination of those words) unsold pilot. Now, here's something interesting. It may not be "good enough" to be a cartoon series somehow...
I rewatched the "Tales from the Gift Shop" episode again, and I thought...hmmm.... it's not canon and it doesn't follow the series much that if you missed the episode it doesn't really matter.
And I though... wouldn't it be a good way to continue the show as a series of specials similar to this?
I really think that if you're going the wacky, idiotic, off the wall cartoon angle, you might as well push it as far as it can go. Yes, I like a nicely structured cartoon series that can either go all over or bridge the gap between comedy, action, and drama. You know, you're Avatars, Stevens...
Whoever does MetroPCS's ad campaigns really needs to be fired. Their commercials are just...lousy. Lazy, terrible attempts at humor to the point where they reached the nadir of terrible.
HAW HAW HAW! You see? It's funny because moving means two things. And I'm guessing were hoping their...
I'm starting to think this show is somehow a slight deconstruction of cartoon stand-bys. The trying to delete an offensive e-mail that shouldn't have been sent is nothing new, neither is ticking off an angry guy completely accidentally and trying to fix it or the guy who doesn't realize he has...
What really made the episode for me was how Hater was spending his entire on screen time mocking Wander. And it never comes off as devastatingly nasty because of how much of a ham he was. It was actually enjoyable and funny to watch him act so over the top. Plus, we all knew he was going to...
I didn't quite hear the set up of the line, but last night's Venture Bros. had The Monarch say something about something that looks like "the 'Not the Mama! Not the Mama' Dinosaur puppet."
They always make slightly esoteric references in that series.
You don't have to tell me that. I've had some horror stories of ill behaved kids. When I saw MFS, there was a very specific kid screaming his head off before the movie because he somehow had a fear of movies or loud noises. He then shut up for the entire movie. Then there was the punk kid in...
