Jim Henson Idea Man
Remember the life. Honor the legacy. Inspire your soul. The new Jim Henson documentary "Idea Man" is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
This will no doubt annoy the heck out of some old PPG fans, but this extended theme from the new series shows a key element of the new series...
The Girls are actually older. And in anywhere from grade school to Junior High at least. So this isn't so much a reboot as a time shift sequel. I...
If there's one real key that these cartoons aren't trying to be as endlessly overly hip and edgy as the movies are, it's the fact that Alvin himself referred to his sneakers as "Tennis Shoes."
No really.
But good episodes all around anyway.
Disney's worst CGI movie by far is Dinosaur. I snuck into that one and even I felt cheated out of my money, especially since I enjoyed the heck out of the movie I paid for, Viva Rock Vegas.
Yep. Viva Rock Vegas. And I was stocked about having just seen it. Dinosaur killed that buzz. It was...
Something tells me they wanted to channel Seth MacFarline when designing the characters. I saw the first designs of these characters and really didn't get it at first, but they look far better in animation.
There are like 3 legitimate parody Scooby-Doo shows (4 if you count What's New...
Tough Pigs has the Details
Jen, Kira (with Fizzgig), a Mystic, Chamberlain Skesis (MMmmhhMMMM), and Aughra are part of this line up.
Now, if you're like me, they make too darn many of these things to collect all of your favorites, and they keep adding some great licenses to the mix. I'm...
The film was in development well before that. It was probably even tracked a little just as that terrible coincidence happened. I wouldn't be surprised if Henson was kicking around this film for a while now. For arguments sake I'll pretend that this is a possibility, and it won't go down like...
As long as no one complains that we're getting this before TMS seasons 4 and 5. After all, newer shows are mostly made to be easily licensed to DVD (though there are some stark exceptions), so it won't get caught up in the labyrinth of red tape like the older shows were.
And as long as it has...
I tend to feel that those who take the alleged moral high ground and have power (politicians, certain religious leaders) are humongous hypocrites and only pretend to care about moral standing to get votes or influence. Never forget the 1980's Televangelists that still bafflingly exist to this...
Free Birds used it illogically. To be fair, it was only stamped on a few boxes of pizza, visible only by the sides (unless the theatrical version is different, I saw it on CN out of sheer boredom), and it wasn't mentioned by name. Still, Chuck E. Cheese doesn't deliver pizza, nor is it some...
And here I was worried Zoolander would be severe competition. That's huge considering the last R rated comic book super hero film, Watchmen, did so-so. Just proves how big the Merc with a Mouth really is, especially since it pretty much made more in its opening weekend than the first film he...
If there's one episode I think was brilliant in the way it was executed, it has to be "Don't Scooby-Doo the Crime if you can't Scooby-Doo the Time."
Why?
Because, it's the first time that A) the ghost was revealed to be the actual guy the ghost was of and B) they wound up clearing him of his...
Juggling is just not that interesting, especially for a character that has nothing else interesting going on. I don't see why they felt they needed a character that could do that for any other reason than trying to push the boundaries of what Puppets can do. If a character doesn't have any...
Well, to be fair, once is trying to get an audience, and responding to it the first time was only natural. Second time, that's on me. I somehow forgot he already posted it and then when I realized he already did, only then is when I reported it. And even then, I can't believe how slow I was...
I don't really watch many of those kinds of reviews because of the sheer glut of them. It took me forever just to get into Angry Video Game Nerd, and between him and Classic Game Room (a decidedly not angry reviewer), that's the only ones I bother with.
But I just had to check out Black Nerd's...
So a certain member keeps shoving this bad fan art with crappy music slideshows in our faces and has posted the same thread twice.
Here's one...

While I no longer can watch these until 9 months from now, I really am starting to dislike shooing out the very same letter and number segments that made Sesame Street what it is because they have to cram too much into a half hour. And yes, I really dislike the fact that they feel the need to...
I like that only the bears, Nom Nom, and Charlie can talk as far as animals go. Though if anyone found the pilot episode on Youtube, they had some spiders grumble about something at the end of it. Maybe that's why no one's really phased by it.
Figured I'd better split this from the Tom and Jerry Show thread.
I'm really digging this series so far. There's a nice bit of cartoon zaniness and monster mash about, and it has a nice bit of heart to it as all three animals care for their little girl human caretaker, Mina. Not to mention...
Kinda seems like they're just focusing on the at home aspects this season, which is disappointing. I loved the travelogue/nature show, witch, detective, and especially the laboratory segments.
That said, they wrote a Chemical Cast...errr...Quacker cartoon to perfection. I swear I had deja vu...
