Jim Henson Idea Man
Remember the life. Honor the legacy. Inspire your soul. The new Jim Henson documentary "Idea Man" is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
I especially loved how when they were showing him the commercial as a guideline, that guy seemed very proud of how the swirls were timed.
Funny thing about that. A couple days ago, I can't remember what I was watching, but they had a series of "non-attorney spokesman" commercials with the same...
While I'm usually not a fan of the "character gets obsessed with something" episodes, I also feel that 20 Percent (etc.) was a great episode if, for no other reason, the amazing visuals and stylized versions of the Titans.
And the Transformers reference. Of course the TF reference goes to the...
I just got around to both that one and the Easter one, and all I can say is meh. Though I did like the call backs to Video Game References and Mask, the Sesame Street stoop cameo (with the skeletal remains of Oscar hanging out of the can) and the DBZ fight parody. And the Bad Luck song was...
Clearly there wasn't enough time or money to film extra new episodes to fill that void, but it seems that we would have had a decent amount of reruns if this didn't happen, either.
Oh yeah. I found it a couple times in the middle of the day, and the obvious place to find them (old rerun based digital channels). I'm not surprised at all. Never saw The Tax Admiral outside of Youtube, though.
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that there's got to be at least one...
They actually had this concept in production since before The Nut Job manifested itself somehow. I can't exactly say where I remember reading that from, either TVTropes or Wikipedia. Somehow they managed to get this thing out somewhere, so they didn't exactly slam shut on production of this...
Remember a waaaaaay back when I mentioned that Vanguard animation was in the process of making a Squirrel nut heist movie, and then The Nut Job happened? Well... apparently, it wasn't scrapped.
Now, the animation is below TV cartoon episode quality, obviously. But I have to admit...
A while back ToughPigs was at a ToyFair( Toy Fair 2010 to be exact) and mentioned there was a selection of read-a-long CD's with cheap sound-a-like voice actors (punctuated with a joke about Abby's "smoker's cough"). Now, I've never seen or heard anything about these since that article, and I'm...
Somehow I feel the adults will feel more ripped off than the kids who probably haven't seen them, considering this is a cable first show now. Hopefully HBO's money will remedy that next season. This season basically telegraphed how much they needed that partnership already.
To be that...
That's internet journalism for you.
And considering they're cheaper now...
For me, it's not so much I miss Gordon or Bob or Maria. I miss the characters they added just the past couple seasons. They still seem to favor Alan and Chris (but moreso Chris lately). I get why they'd push the...
At this point, I'd love them to do a Nexo movie. I really dig Ninjago and I've enjoyed the series so far, but there's something special about Nexo Knights that really has my attention.
I'd gather that with a Ninjago movie they'd get a different voice cast than the Canadian one they have now...
Meanwhile, Boardertown looks like it got shoved to a terrible 7PM slot. While I'm mixed about the series, I know it's not going to last. It's essentially what was wrong with the first couple seasons of American Dad, only not nearly as funny. Considering one of the show runners of American Dad...
My only real problem with Sonic X is that it had to transport the characters to another world to justify the tie ins to the Sonic Adventure games. But I'll admit, at the end of the second season, they at least did something with it. I'm disappointed we never got a Sonic Anime series that took...
I've been very annoyed by Disney's practices when it came to Muppet plush. They under ordered back when TM came out, and the likes of Pepe, Rizzo, and Beaker who sold out quickly were never restocked. While Walter and Constantine were cleared out, Rowlf and the Chef sold out well before the...
I don't know why Rodriguez was roped into a Spy Kids 4. There was no need to revitalize that, the third one was already a gimmicky bomb. Plus, it robbed us of Rodriguez's live action Jetsons movie.
That's Christmas Rush for you. The games could have been better with more time and effort. The studio that made the game was pretty much ticked off at Sega, and that's putting it mildly. Supposedly Fire and Ice was postponed, so they learned their lesson there.
As for the cartoon, one of the...
It really is a shame Sega pretty much torpedoed the franchise by not releasing better quality Sonic Boom games. I know there's supposed to be a second season, but don't know when the heck it's supposed to air, at least over here. This was supposed to be a huge product roll out and the games...
I definitely want to see a second Lego film, I just don't know how it will go considering how it ends. There's also supposedly a Ninjago Movie coming, and I don't know about that one either. I mean, it's already a TV series that's been around a while (just frustratingly aired in spurts), so is...
Sounds like they were contracted as an animation firm if I read that correctly.
I'm mixed about the film, I probably will see it if I have enough money. And the newer trailers at least show that it is indeed a movie about the Angry Birds and not a movie with birds that are more or less in a...
