Don't worry about it, no attack taken. I was seriously saying that after seeing those pictures, that you guys were right in your decision to make him the height that you did. Either way, the sculpt is incredible, and he's my favorite figure of the whole line.
As far as correcting, or...
Hey guys, I just got my first set of series 3 yesterday. I say first because I buy multiple sets of each series. One to open, one to keep closed, and a bunch to customize! Anyway, I figured I’d put in my two cents, and give a review from worst to best…
Zoot: My least favorite figure of...
I've seen the Scooter puppet in person, and I have the figure, and I can confirm that he is definitely too big. In fact I'd even go as far as saying that he's kinda...well, giant. The sculpt is perfect as is the paint job , but Scooter is a little guy, and the figure doesn't reflect that at all.
I'll get the set, but my fear is that this line is not going to last the years and years that everyone hopes. Therefore, there's a good chance that we'll be left with random variants, like the Bunsen and Beaker tuxes, to put with Kermit Tux, and there'll be no Fozzie, Sam, Scooter in sight. I...
Because I seem to remember seeing Scooter in a tux on more than one occassion. While Bunsen and Beaker were only in them in the 30 year celebration. They're just to obscure IMHO.

Ken,
You and I have talked about the tuxes many times, so you know my feelings on them. But since they are gonna continue, would it be possible to knock out the ones that "belong" in tuxes first? Such as Fozzie, Scooter, Sam, and the band. Doing Statler and Waldorf (which I agree wouldn't be...
I think the carrying case is a great idea! It could have 12 compartments (3 rows of 4 with peg holes) that the figures stand in, and instead of a vinyl cover to keep them in place, it could have the arches that hold them in. And of course a handle on top for carrying purposes. I'd prefer this...
To be honest Bunsen and Beaker would have been my last choices for tux versions. I think any of the band, or Fozzie, Scooter, and Sam would have been better choices. But as usual they still look good, and I will purchase them.
Just my two cents.

Favorite series 1 figure : Dr. Teeth
Favorite series 2 figure : Fozzie
Least favorite figure (after regular Piggy, that's a given): Gonzo
Gonzo is the only figure that looks like the cartoon version instead of the puppet version.

I wouldn't count on a Bear on Patrol playset. It just wouldn't sell. In fact, it's my opinion that it would sell less than a Koosebane playset (which has already been scrapped). My votes for the 2004 playsets would be Backstage with Naked Sam and Vets Hospital with Nurse Janice and 2 sets of...
I posted this at Palisades as well, but in figured I'd post it here for those of you who don't go there....
Lets play a game. Since Palisades has been so good about taking our suggestions and putting them to good use, lets help them out some more. One of the things I want most from this...
I'm actually kinda glad that Koosebane is canceled. In my opinion, it would have been an inevitable shelf warmer. Also, it being canceld has set a precedent: Koosebane Kermit will have the first character pack-ins. Personally I'll always take a pack-in over an accessory. My opinion is, and...
There was a new version of "it feels like christmas" with applause at the end that I've never heard before. Where is it from, and where would one get a copy of it?

They were all Henson puppeteers, not all the original performers, but all puppeteers who worked for Henson at one time or another. As far as the foreign characters go, I don't believe any of them were performed by their actual performers. I know of at least a few that were being done by U.S...
It's funny you say that Quinn, because Steve actually said the exact same thing to me when I complimented him on his Kermit voice. He's too hard on himself, and seems to think that we're just accepting it more.
-Artie
Just out of curiosity, what made you think it was one of those two performers? I'm relatively sure that neither of them even worked on the commercial. Drew works out of L.A. so I think it's rare that he works on any Muppet production that films on the east coast.
Also as far as Fozzie goes...
The company that made them is called Gorham, and the other two in the set are Big Bird (next to what looks like a tree stump), and Cookie Monster with cookies. You can usually find them on ebay if you type in "sesame ornaments" or "sesame ornament" in the search engine.
Hope this helps,
-Artie
