    Mexican Muppet Show DVDs

Hmmmm. Volume 2 of the TimeLIfe set (which I may need to repurchase in DVD form since my VCR recently broke, but that's another story.). Only no TimeLife references there. Interesting.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4929 - Oscar Uncanned

Okay. Thanks. I knew that had one for when Frank played his characters after Eric took over (and Dave took over as Cookie Monster), but I didn't know that had a similar one for Carroll. So this should be a big help.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Wow! Multiple episodes in a row with a 'winter theme.' They don't have a lot of story arcs like that anymore.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4929 - Oscar Uncanned

So that was Eric? I wondered about that. I was thinking they may have used Carroll's earlier recording until I realized the difference in Oscar's voice especially when Grungetta and the other grouches joined in. But what the heck was up with that guy Jack the Grouch? How was he relevant to the plot?

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4909 - Bath Time for Blanky

Yeah. It would have been nice if she could have made a come back, after all we do still see repeat eps with Leela implying that she may still be around. But recall she is supposed to appear in season 50, maybe she'll explain her disappearance along with Susan and Gordon and Bob and all the rest...

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4909 - Bath Time for Blanky

I have to agree. You can't go wrong with Grover/Mr. Johnson. For once Mr. J. received good service from him, well up until the underpants part that is. Lol. Mr. Johnson: I'm taking my laundry somewhere else. Don't bother. Grover works everywhere. One wonders how he got so many jobs if he...

    Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4905 - Elmo's Factory

Yeah. It's always good to see Herry, but the difference in his voice is noticeable. Was that Peter Linz? Well, it seems like Carroll's most recent BB voice and Matt's are starting to sound more and more similar, both having BB sound a bit congested, but Carroll did record BB's lines up until...

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4904 - So You Think You Can Choreograph

Hey was that blonde girl Gina in the "Happy, Happy, Dance" segment? It looked like her but she's not on the show anymore so I just thought I'd ask about that?

"Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration" special to air November 9 on HBO and November 17 on PBS

Could you give me the link to the site where the photos from the 50th anniversary special are? I'm still not seeing it.

    Sesame Street PBS outros

Thanks, Big Bird fan. I'll just watch for your posts then rather than just trying to catch the last two minutes of the show which may end up being pointless. Lol. You're right that it probably is pretty doubtful since they've used the same ones that they've used since Season 46, but again when...

    Sesame Street PBS outros

Just a quick question, does anyone know if any new PBS outros have been made for Season 49, (I mean the ones with Cookie Monster, Rosita and kids dancing or doing whatever) or are they just using the same ones they've used since season 46? The reason I'm asking is because I know they started...

    RIP Muppet Show Guests

Oh, how could I forget Mr. Wilson from Dennis the Menace Strikes Again and the famous Mr. Potato Head? :grouchy:

"Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration" special to air November 9 on HBO and November 17 on PBS

With Roscoe/Gordon that's not surprising, since he's been a staple on the street ever since his Matt Robinson days, but interesting that Leela will make an appearance since we haven't seen her of late outside of repeat episodes. I can't wait to see this special. They should reference that. It...

    RIP Muppet Show Guests

I'm surprised there are that many from season 1 that are still alive actually. In all honesty, it's not too surprising that so many TMS guests are gone, because the show did start in the 70s and some of them were pretty old already at the time so that's natural unlike "Muppets Tonight!" where so...

Pepe The King Prawn and Goofy Singing "A Whole New World" on Disney Cruise Line....

And I just realized that they're both voiced by Bills. Bill Barretta and Bill Farmer.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4902 - Picture This

Yeah. That's something I've been told when I commented on how Steve's Kermit voice has changed over the years (which I know isn't the best example since Steve doesn't voice Kermit anymore but bear with me on this). Muppeteer's voices do change over time, especially with Telly since Marty's been...

Episodes that Have Stuck with You

Did I say that in this thread? I was thinking of the "Don't Eat the Pictures" special. I guess maybe when I posted here I got my threads mixed up. Sorry about the confusion.
