Well...sort of. I was looking for a way to display my MTI figures and I came across this old Mezco 20,000 Leagues play set. It comes with quite a few neat accessories that are mostly in scale with the figures.
It works out pretty well..though Sam is a bit large...
Since I'm mostly new here and didn't get to play in this pool originally I think I'll stir up the water a bit so it doesn't get stagnant. :)
1. who are your top five favorite/ least favorite figures?
Top Five: Sweedish Chef, Adventure Kermit, Beaker, Purple Suit Gonzo, Bunsen
Least Favorite...
Picked up a sweater vest and pants for Gonzo at Babies R Us on sale last week. I went with the 12month size. The pants are pulled up to...well Gonzo has no nipples...but that's where they'd be!
Just need to get him some tiny wingtip shoes. I can not for the life of me figure out how I want to...
When in Disney in October some of the PVC sets were in different packaging. Tall square boxes as opposed to the oval shapped container like box they come in at Disney Store. They had the same exact figures, just different packaging (the toy store in downtown actually had both sets side by side)...
You're not crazy Dr T. The UP figure set does exists. I last saw it in a Disney Outlet Store near me.
Here's an Amazon link to the set (sold out sadly)

I also know that the mini brick company Kubrick did a couple of...
I picked up the Kermit car for my Nephew (along with a Nemo and Bruce) when I went to WDW in 2008. It's his favorite because it "goes the fastest". :)
The Disney racers really are neat.
$250 would probably be the max I could spend on Rizzo and still justify it to myself (and more importantly, the Mrs! :o). I have a Gonzo and would love to compliment him with his rodent pal. I'd have loved a Chamilla replica to be honest! However I can see how a Muppet chicken wouldn't appeal to...
I have to 100% disagree with that list. Except Waldo, I never really considered him a Muppet though.
The only Muppet who ever really got under my skin was Piggy. So I could have a list of one "worst" based on personal preference. Otherwise I don't think there is a single Muppet who hasn't...
I hate to jump in here being so new to the community and all but I likes my soundtracks :o
Could someone please send me The Muppet Movie and Statler and Waldorf singing "It was a very good year?"
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You're not alone. When I first saw Jeff a few years ago (pre-Achmed) I found him really hillarious. Post Achmed...eh. I get sick of him pretty quickly. :grouchy:
I'll take the original mad bomber over that one line pony anyday!
My sister got me a Gonzo for Christmas. His focus is ok but I think I'm going to fix it anyway. I've also removed the little flower from his lapel. :concern:

My list is ever flowing so the numberical order doesn't really matter. As a kid though Gonzo was my favorite.
1)Gonzo
2)Statler and Waldorf (Can't have one without the other!)
3)Beaker
4)Swedish Chef
5)Dr Teeth
6)Fozzie
7)Rowlf
8)Pepe
9)Bunsen
10)Pops
I don't know if they had any rod puppets but they definately had live hand.
The news reporter, Howard Handupme, was a hand puppet. I also remember the turtley "whatnot" dinosaur to be a hand puppet.
I always look at Kermit as the anchor. The wackier the rest of the cast gets, the more anchored Kermit becomes. He's got to be getting used to the rest of the gang by now :)
:search: I'm trying to remember off the top of my head (and failing) but did we ever really see "frustrated/angry"...
