Posted this over in the action figure thread but for those that don't venture there:
The Muppet Star Wars figures are in the Disney Parks Holiday catalogue. They're on page 51:

eBay scalpers have already started taking pre orders on them at 36$ a pair. I'm planning on just...
If you look in the resort shops and over at Hollywood Studios you should see some of the Muppet Star Wars pins in blind boxes still floating about. That's a great series.
If you're ever curious about other Muppet Pins check out PinPics.

The only release info on the Star Wars set that was given was "The fall".
That's come and gone now so it's anybodies guess. I would imagine with the success of the movie Disney will want to get them out soon though.
The sad part is that there is a Muppet store in Hollywood Studios. But in recent years Muppets merchandise has been stuck in a corner on a single wrack and an occasional display shelf. In their own store! If nothing else I'd love to see that store revitalized a bit. Silly to have giant Kermit...
I think the first part of the new Fantasy Land in WDW is opening up later in 2012 so I think a lot of focus will be put on that over on this coast. There was also an announcement that Disney would be opening a new area based on Avatar...
Playing off what DrTooth said: The demographic those cups are aiming for are those of us who grew up with The Muppets and now have kids. Playing off the parents nostalgia is always a good marketing move.
This and the only other (currently) negative review on Rotten Tomatoes aren't really reviews at all.
It's sad that some people have to be negative just for the sake of it.
When they were first announced back in May it was said they'd retail for about $20 a pack. I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see them going for 25$ though.
Got the Rapunzel one for my Niece and Nephew. Had all the main characters and (surprisingly) a few vikings. I haven't seen it in the stores for quite a while though. The quality on it felt cheaper then the other sets, I don't know if that had something to do with it.
Here's one on Amazon for...
Disney does sell some of it's "parks only" merchandise on the website with a constantly changing rotation. So don't be surprised if those PVC's end up on Disney Store.com.
I don't think we'll see the Star Wars Muppets up there. There is a very specific liscencing agreement with Lucas Film that...
Basically if you buy the DVD's (anywhere) and it has a rewards code in it you can get a free ticket.

They've been selling a Chef in the parks for years now. Especially around the time of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. He pops up at stands in every country there. I don't think it would be to much for Disney to just retag him and put him out with the other film plushes.
Like most Disney...
I took my Niece to the event and the kids seemed to have fun sticking things to a paper bag. It was actually more then I expected. I assumed initially it would be a paper bag and some markers. But they actually had cardboard cut out pieces.
The store itself was packed to the gills and there...
Search Muppet and they'll come up.

It does sound that way. I'm not holding out for anything more then a paper bag puppet though :D
They stuffed it in my bag when we checked out the other day (had to get the Gonzo mug). I imagine they'd give you one if you asked though.
