The CBS morning show (don't even know what it was called) was filming at FAO Schwarz on Saturdeay. One segment had Fozzie putting together a what-not at the actual workshop. It was cut but I only saw about a minute. Does anyone know if there was more to this muppet appearance?

It was a cute appearance. I wish they could have been on longer but they were there none the less. I thought it was typical Piggy and Kermit banter (in a good way).

Is that the touring exhibit? I'm planning on going whhen it is in Chicago, but that's not until sometime in 2010.

I was watching an episode of the muppet show last night and was thinking it would be funny if they labeled the section where you pick your face parts out with "Vend-a-face".

Hmmm...this is an interesting point. I was at a fair this weekend watching jugglers and was discussing with my wife this very idea. It seems that performances arts like jugglers and clowns have stayed as street performances and circus acts. Somewhere along the way (and maybe due to Jim henson)...

Hmmm... the way some of the canidates are complaining about satire these days I'm kind of glad this special got put aside. I would hate to see the muppets get criticized the way saturday night live has. Given old guys giving the muppets a hard time because of their humor would be nothing new.

I hope the songs will be available to buy on a cd.... Maybe something like the wizard of oz album with some older (and maybe some rarer) Muppet songs mixed. Given the muppets released a Christmas album 2 years ago but they did win a grammy sooooo.

I am excited but somwhat skeptical. Are they playing it this Chirstmas? I was really disappointed in the Elmo special last year and just worry when something like this is rushed. Of course any muppets is better than no muppets.:o

My two year old daughter certainly likes Elmo and Abby but lately her favorites have been bert and ernie. She carries dolls of them every where and makes us watch bert and ernie skits on the dvd over and over again.
