My head is spinning with the myriad of conflicting news reports. I haven't been this dizzy since i used to "dance" to Sesame Street records by running around my bedroom in circles.
Not quite as extreme but i think that is actually what SW's done with the casting of Leela (who i totally love as an addition to the cast BTW - between her and Chris, they've got awesome new human cast members!)
Even though i was not a big fan of the idea, so far i've been impressed with all the story adaptations so far (i know Robin Hood has mixed reactions among the fans but if you seperate the script from the poor art, the comic was very well written - it helps if you read it imagining the Muppets...
Don't worry about Wembley - he probably had his fill after the Love Potion #9 incident. Even if not, he probably couldn't make up his mind who he'd want to commit to.
And will Murray Monster present it as the letter of the day or will he Meander between replacing it with different letters as he rethinks the day? Will Don Music have to change his name or will he stick a feather in his cap and call it Macaroni? Is d.w. Mckim Mucking up this thread with his...
That scene is one of my all time favorites!
"Excuse me, Green Person. Have you been sworn in?"
"Uh, 'at', yes. 'In', no."
"Okee-dokee! Put your 'and on zee book and repeat after me!...'ow'"
"OWWWWWW!"
"Very nice!"
I cracked up hysterically at the very end of Mullholland Drive because...
I don't actually fault Disney for trying it. Muppeteers aren't immortal; emergencies, and unforeseen circumstances and sometimes tragedies occur, thus Disney would be fools not to prepare for the worst and have emergency plans in place should anything happen to one of their key players. Even...
Okay, i know like most cable stations, Cartoon Network is a shell of its original vision and is under poor management with its programming filled with junk. But as i was flipping channels, i happened upon the new cgi animated Garfield Show and really REALLY liked what i saw!
The original...
Indeed you are thinking of Marvin Suggs and his Muppaphone. Lady of Spain was his debut but he also appeared sporadically as an occasional recurring character often with his Muppaphones and occasionally pursueing some other tasteless act like conducting singing food.
He's long been one of my...
Yeah - the lack of music on MTV has long been a major irritation of mine, but wow is it sad that it's now gotten to the point where MTV itself has officially taken the "music" out of its name - an admission that they're no longer even interested in TRYING anymore. Really a sad day.
The...
That's a pretty interesting question to consider actually because it would be a situation akin to EFX picking up the Muppet replica niche after MR wasn't able to continue - a largely successful product line that garnered raves from both the fanbase and industry gets picked up later by a...
Back to the original question, i could totally see a sketch where Abby's demonstrating her magic to Ernie with Ernie thinking it's cool and asking her to do more all the while oblivious to the various ways the magic is causing increasing discomfort/irritation to Bert.
Some of it has to do with womens' lib/feminism, rebellion against the idea that the males' family name is "more important", but also more and more since women have not only joined the workforce but also have major careers, many women keep their maiden name because they have a certain...
Not quite sure the definition of "talent crush" - but since music is such a big thing with me, i can get very turned on by certain people's singing (male or female) regardless of whether i would crush on them otherwise...Annie Lennox, Chris Isaak, Terry Hall, Dave Gahan, Jon Marsh (Beloved)...
