i think the main problem here is that the tapes of the funeral that exist and were handed out to company members all had a very clear "DO NOT DUPLICATE " label on them, .so the disrespect to the families wishes begins there, this is just a continuation of it, yes the funeral was open to the...
it might be somthing that has to grow on me a bit, ill give it another chance, but your right , it isnt for everyone, (just to clarify its not that i found it offensive or anything ,my sense of humor could be described as Dark , at best )

its very inportant, a solo puppet with no story , or purpose is not very interesting, it is something i feel a lot of the more recent puppet related shows on tv have failed to comprehned, many sem more interested in some pandering lesson then crafting a interesting story around the characters...

Buck is right, i think u may be expecting a little to much from your first Puppet , it takes a long time to develop pattern making skills, it cant be rushed,
one idea might be to buy a real (or fake pear), lay masking tape on it, (make sure its flat,no air bubbles),measure around the pear ,and...

i personally dont use the interior painted method ,
when i use those, i grind done what i can with a dremel tool, then use different sand papers(a medium and a fine), in order to prevent flaking u have to sand it anyway , then spray it with flat white, , puils are up to u , use your...
No i did not do any work on those charecters,They are in the Historical archives, and i believe they get sent to Museums on occasion, they are no longer perfromed and dont need to be Refurbisehed for use in shows.

i watched all most all of them in during the original run on ABC,
on a few episodes, the forgot to dub in Stewart Pankins voice as earl says "HONEY, Im HOME", and you get hear the voise that Dave Goelz was using as he performed the character.
