Something has been bothering me since last season. In Zoe's description it says
"She LOVES Big Bird, he is her favorite person in the world!"
Why do they keep putting this in her bio when they NEVER interact? This isn't in her Season 36 bio, just 37 and 38. I figured that meant they'd...
Thanks for finding that! I hadn't seen it before, and that was definitely really sad. :(
Goes to show that even though people may not like modern day Sesame Street, there's still some gems in there.
I don't like the idea of Abby being in every episode either. In fact, I don't like the idea of any character being in every episode. With only 26 episodes a season, they need to make the most of it by using as many characters as possible.
When I was little, I thought Maria was a good female...
Here's what I remember:
Maria and Luis fall in love, get married, go on their honeymoon, and have a baby. (This all took place in two seasons!)
David left the show, and Mr. Handford came in as the new owner of Hooper's store.
And of course, Jim Henson died in 1990.
I was little at the...
It doesn't sound like you've bought the Sesame Street Old School DVD set. That would be a great place to start.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet. Last night on American Idol we saw Big Bird's long lost cousin, as Ryan put it. I'll just let the clip explain itself...

I think when Caroll Spinney decides to retire they should do another Big Bird movie so he could end his career with a bang. (There'd have to be plenty of Oscar too of course.) If not a movie, I hope they do something big. He deserves it.
As for an Elmo's World movie, it doesn't sound as bad as...
No, no, a million times NO! Around the Corner is what made me loose my interest in Sesame Street until I rediscovered it last year. There were just too many things added to the show that it just wasn't the same show anymore. SW was smart to realize this and put the show back to normal.
The...
Hmm, not sure what to think about this. It's great they're releasing more full uncut episodes, but I don't like the one episodes a disk, or so many Elmo episodes. I was also really hoping the Gina adoption episodes would be on here when l read the title of the thread, but as usual, Elmo takes...
I was especially glad to hear Marco will be getting more air time. I was afraid they'd just kinda forget about him and we'd see him once or twice or something. It sure would be nice if we could get back to episodes revolving around humans instead the usual Baby Bear, Telly, Elmo, etc. filled...
I loved it! We also got some good insight into the show. My favorite parts were:
"There are 26 letters in the alphabet. Which letter am I supposed to fire?"
and
Then he pulled out his ticket pad and said, "You know, Bob, I learned how to write on 'Sesame Street'!
lol. Great stuff there...
Wow, I can't believe it's been that long since the show premiered! I hope they can get the movie out next year for their 25th.
Happy Anniversary Fraggles! :smirk: :excited:
I had a ton of stuff as well. The only thing I don't have anymore is the 123 Sesame Street House (Different from the one mentioned above.) There is a video of me playing with it at least.
Monster at the end of this book, a variety of records, figures, a small blue chair from the play set, a...
MY PBS station aired it last night at 10:30pm. I came in here expecting everyone but me to see it. I guess no one in here saw it on Wednesday, or at least haven't posted yet.
Anyway, I thought it was a very good special. Not too much Sesame Street stuff, but it was very informative and showed...
I finally saw it on Christmas Eve thanks to Comcast having Sprout as a free digital preview all weekend. It was a total fluke too! For the past few months the channel has been a free preview every weekend. SS airs everyday at 3pm and am. (Mountain time). I had just got home from shopping and it...
A little short, but a good appearance none the less. I was really surprised he mentioned waaay back when he first met Snuffy, but it sure was nice to hear a past reference. :) The funniest part was hearing him say "If you believe, you can achieve!" it just sounded funny hearing him say that.
I...
