Without a doubt the best episode yet. JimAndFrank summed things up so perfectly I don't have much to add but just a few things:
The only negative was Jason Bateman. Can't stand him and kept wishing he'd leave Kermit alone.
Sam still has his crush on Janice! Yay! He was on fire for sure. ;)...
MUCH better than last week's. We got to see a lot of the fallout with Kermit and Piggy's breakup, and Piggy is handling it a lot better than I thought she would. I kept waiting for the gift to have something that would make Denise upset, but Piggy kept her word which was really nice to see...
First real meh episode for me. Didn't care for the Fozzie stuff and the Scooter/Rizzo plot was just okay.
Piggy's feuds are getting a bit repetitive, but I loved the musical number they did and Piggy had some pretty funny lines all throughout.
Another great episode. Shame we have to wait an extra week for the next one.
The Statler plot got me thinking. Obviously he was just manipulating Fozzie, but I think there was some truth in that no one but Fozzie visited him. I think deep down he feels lonely sometimes, but heckling Fozzie is...
"I had an opportunity to go to medical school. Turns out they just wanted to dissect me."
I know it's only the third episode, but this is easily the funniest joke the show has done. I love it when they take advantage of the fact that some of them are animals. :)
Which brings me to the Fozzie...
But there are adults who act this way. I understand not liking the Muppets doing this kind of humor, but at the same time, I feel it would be pretty unrealistic if there wasn't any at all. As long as they don't go overboard with it (which I don't feel they have) I think it's a good way to make...
It just occurred to me that Denise exists. When I wrote this, I completely forgot Kermit was dating anyone! I'm really surprised she wasn't in this episode. You'd think they'd want to give the new character a lot of screen time so people don't forget her.
Thanks. :)
Really great episode. Others have already echoed my own thoughts about all the great funny parts, but I really wanted to talk about my favorite part of tonight's episode, Kermit!
I absolutely loved his whole plot. From all the color codes, to fixing Piggy up, to trying to figure out how to get...
Been awhile since I last posted, but I was so excited about the new show I wanted to share my thoughts.
I really hope Fozzie dating is something we see more of this season. I LOVE how they're finally doing something different with the character.
We need more Sam. This is the perfect job for...
After reading all the positive talk about 4142, I'm wondering if maybe being sick hindered my enjoyment of it.
4143
Hooray, a grouch episode! :) I liked this one. I can't remember the last time Grundgetta got so much screen time, and I loved how Slimy was the one to wake her up. (Yeah, I...
Marco has already appeared this season, and the last episode had a Trash Gordon repeat, so he's still around.
I'm gonna have to disagree with everyone and say that, once again, this episode was pretty boring. They could have done a lot more with it, like that episode where 1 didn't want to...
I was worried when they started with Elmo's Tricycle song. I was afraid we wouldn't even get a street story today. I don't get why they even started with that, since Elmo then acts surprised when he sees us as he welcomes us to Sesame Street. They should have just played that later in the show...
I concur. That was definitely Fat Blue saying the line.
That's how it is where I live too, but next week we'll be going back to Monday, Wednesday, Friday. TV Guide.com only goes up to the 5th, but since there's a new episode listed for the 4th, it looks like it'll be Tuesday, Thursday the...
I'm glad that's gone. As much as I want more screen time for those characters too, I don't want it that way.
Today's episode was pretty good, but it was one of those street stories that needed to be spread threw-out the episode instead of all at once. It would have made the whole episode...
I haven't had a chance to see any of the new season yet. :( For some reason I had lost interest all of a sudden (the lack of Big Bird helped that) and got caught up in other things. But after quickly skimming through the thread I see I'm gonna have start watching again.
The opening and ending...
Hooray! New closing theme! :D
We'll have to wait and see on all that new music, but I don't think they'll stray far from the stuff we know.
The CGI stuff worries me though. But we don't know much yet, and I don't think SW is dumb enough to make an "around the corner" type big change again...
Wow. That's a really great song parody. Hope they put that out on CD/iTunes. I'd buy it in a second.
Hopefully the other parodies will be just as good.
I'm not saying they never interacted. I'm just saying they don't seem to anymore, which is why I don't get why they're putting that line in Zoe's bio again.
