Floyd is one that comes naturally when I do a gruff voice. Strangely enough, I can't seem to do a very good Dr. Teeth. I can do the current version, but not Henson's version. Waldorf, on the other hand, is one I can get down pat.
Sounds fair enough. :)
As for me, I am about to get my hands on a Muppet Labs set with Beaker. I'll have to keep my eyes out for Bunsen as well, since poor Beaky can't handle the labs alone.
I never attempted any Fraggle Rock characters, mainly because I haven't seen it in a while. I just now remember them thanks to Youtube and the Muppet Wiki.
As for Fozzie, he's the one Oz character I can't do so well. It's weird since people told me Animal was harder to do, and he's someone I...
Although to be fair, I haven't seen that many specials myself, so my judgement on the WDW one may be a bit biased, seeing it was the last Muppet production Jim Henson worked on, wasn't it?
However, my thoughts on Studio DC still stand. Disney, if you do not want angry Muppet fans to swarm you...
Personally, I think the Muppets at WDW special was underrated. Yeah, some could write it off as an hour-long Disney World advertisement by showing off rides (Miss Piggy and Beauregard's storyline) and even that Indy spectacular (Only with Kermit as the fedora-wearing archaeologist himself), it...
Yeah, strangely I've been able to do most, if not all of Oz's characters flawlessly, mainly Animal and Sam, though I'm getting better at Miss Piggy and Grover (Essentially the same with some differences).
As for fun ones, again, Animal is always fun to do, and everyone seems to know him, even...
Yeah, there are some guys I can't completely get down pat, Gonzo being one of them. However, Sam is one of my best voices along with Animal, Swedish Chef, and Beaker.
This is classic Muppets if I ever saw it. Matt did a remarkable job as Floyd. :sing:
I agree, it's nice to have some lesser known Muppets take the spotlight once in a while, though pretty much everyone knows Animal. :halo:
All in all, just as good as Beaker's appearance last year.
A couple of the ones you mentioned are pretty expensive (Zoot and regular Scooter especially). Your best bet is eBay, as I've scored some of my figures (Actually all of them) from there for cheap prices.
My newest addition is, though only used once, the two pumpkins in the Swedish Chef pumpkin carving video.
"If we make it to Thanksgiving, you're on your own."
Oh yes, a topic I've always wanted to elaborate on since I joined this forum.
First things first, I watched Sesame Street since I was a literal baby, but these were tapes that contained 70's/80's episodes. The Elmo I knew was a representation of a smaller kid, maybe a toddler, who liked to be...
I have a bit of a hard time with the gravelly voiced characters (Rowlf, Dr. Teeth) mainly because of pitch. Sometimes I'll do Rowlf when I mean to do Dr. Teeth and vice versa.
As for Fozzie, I still can't seem to do him right. Like I said, I can do the infamous Wocka Wocka, and maybe his Hiya...

1. who are your top five favorite/ least favorite figures?
Top 5 (no order): Statler, Dr. Teeth, Uncle Deadly, Zoot, Animal
2. were any figures better/ worse than you expected?
Fozzie was a little less articulated than I thought he could/should be.
3. which mega was your...
I would've liked to have seen Bruce Springsteen on there. As I said in the Songs the Electric Mayhem could Perform thread, it would have been epic to have him play with them Born to Run. Could you imagine Zoot do the sax solo?
I also would have thought William Shatner or Ozzy Osbourne would...
I got that one for about $25 (that includes shipping), while Uncle Deadly set me back about $10 and I just got Fozzie for $15.
Oh, and Frogster, nice collection. I still have to get Strangepork and Hogthrob for my Pigs in Space set.
