    Sesame Workshop/Shout! Factory Deal

If Sesame and Shout are still making DVDs, what in the world prevented them from putting the Wish Pickle special on DVD?

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

I know, but the way Alex phrased it made it sound like he was criticizing Ryan, which I don't think he deserves.

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

It's not really his fault, Ryan's natural voice is in a tenor range, so because of that, Elmo sings in a higher range than he did when Kevin played him. They should have changed the instrumental track to fit Ryan's key better. I still think Ryan is great at singing as Elmo. Just hear his version...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

Someone was kind enough to put a bunch of episodes of the Sesame podcast into one place: The animal episode is at 17:28, the birthday episode is at 35:30, the doctor episode is at 52:56, the monster episode is at 1:11:00, and the superhero episode is at 1:29:07. Also one of the episodes that's...

    The New New Quote Thread

David Rudman: There was a Sesame bit, cause I started doing Cookie right around 2000, and Frank and I shared it for a few years, so when Frank would come in, he would play Cookie, and when he was gone, I would do it. So they wrote this bit that Cookie and Grover were in together, and Frank was...

    The New New Quote Thread

Joe Hennes: So Kynan, what was Save the Muppets? Kynan Barker: It was a massive overreaction to Disney wanting to cast extra performers. When I say overreaction, I'm still against that idea, the idea of multiple Kermits, a cruseship Kermit, a shopping mall Kermit and a movie Kermit. But the...

Muppet Guys (And Gals) Talking: The Muppet Family Interviews Thread

We finally got an interview with Joey after his departure from Sesame:

Sesame Street Special "Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy"

The songs were the best part of the special. I also liked Grover struggling to find the pet fair and Oscar showing his soft spot for Tango.

Sesame Street Season 51 Episode 5135 - Move and Groove on Sesame Street

I liked how Cookie shared his food with the cute chick puppet in Monster Foodies.

Your Thoughts: Kermit on "A Capitol Fourth" Sunday July 4, 2021

I liked that it wasn't just Kermit singing Rainbow Connection. His bits with Vanessa Williams throughout the show were fun.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5034 - Fourth of July Celebration

I just figured it out today. The girl you thought was Stacy Gordon was Tyler Bunch's wife: https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Marca_Leigh

Video: Sesame Workshop virtual gala featuring John Legend, Jimmy Fallon, Michelle Obama and Amanda Gorman

So the video is gone now, and I forgot to save it. Did anybody here save it?

    Sesame Street Season 51 Episode 5134 - Cinderella's Clockworks

I liked the set for when Nina, Abby and Rudy were inside the clock. The idea that Cinderella has people that solve problems for her was funny to me. The new Foodie Truck segment was fun, especially Gonger getting disgusted at Cookie using olive oil on his feet.

Sesame Street Season 51 Episode 5133 - Turtle Tunes

The songs were the best part of the street story. The I Wonder bit with Grover and the turtle played by Johnny K was fun. I hope we get more like that.

Sesame Street Season 51 Episode 5131 - Bowl with Elmo

There were some great lines in the street story. Seeing the t-rex team with new actors was a nice surprise.

Sesame Street Season 51 Episode 5132 - Family Day

Nice that they put the street story on YouTube, so people who don't have HBO Max can see it immediately. Jen Barnhart was the MVP of the episode, playing three characters in the same story. The song from Kelsea was cool.

Video: Sesame Workshop virtual gala featuring John Legend, Jimmy Fallon, Michelle Obama and Amanda Gorman

Granted it's been a while since they've done parodies, but they could make more eventually. Elmo's been in every new cold open, but has he been in every new street story this season? Maybe Joey learned that they were doing the Not-Too-Late Show, which is more comedy based and less education...

Video: Sesame Workshop virtual gala featuring John Legend, Jimmy Fallon, Michelle Obama and Amanda Gorman

I know this is wishful thinking, but what if after Joey left, he learned that Sesame was still doing parodies (just online now) and they weren't forcing Elmo into every single street story so he asked to come back?
