I guess that’s all the ‘Bilba-retta’ Muppets they have to showcase. Definitely looking forward to the Instagram users’ portrayal of BMC, even Dave Alvarez’s - I have to wait for his Muppet uploads, or Muploads, to appear on Mondays now.
Appropriately enough, October 10th happens to be National Trumpet Day! If we take into account what the remaining days are, we can figure out who will be featured next.
I still have a feeling they plan on saving Miss Piggy for last.
There is one Muppet who I think would take the 63rd week: Dr. Phil van Neuter. I know him best for a role he played in Muppets From Space, but I looked at his page and found he was the host of a recurring Muppets Tonight sketch called Tales from the Vet, which I immediately knew was a spoof of...
I did mention earlier that ol’ UD would have a week anywhere from 59 to 63. Overall, this would also make him the 10th Muppet recently performed by Matt Vogel. Somehow I always find his voice for Uncle Deadly quite relaxing, especially those Muppet Thought of the Week appearances.
The fourth Frank Oz/Eric Jacobson Muppet to be showcased. I fondly remember Marvin’s first appearance in S1 of The Muppet Show. I always assumed he was Spanish, considering his use of “Olé” and “Gracias” and the tune he played. IMO, this first appearance is where he is best portrayed - the way...
The Muppets’ social media accounts are up and running again (since yesterday, of course), and what fans found via toppsdisney on Instagram definitely checks out.
Looks like we now have 11 characters performed by ‘Mr. ‘Retta’ (12 if you count Andy Pig). This man is certainly as versatile as...
Looks like we have a character who made his debut in The Jim Henson Hour/MuppeTelevision! I remember spotting Chip in Muppets From Space. Admittedly, I never got to watch Muppets Tonight as frequently as anybody in this Forum did. And how about his role in the 2015 Muppets documentary-style...
Another Muppets on Muppets video popped up, and this time, it’s a Bilba-Retta (sorry, couldn’t resist) Muppet doing the talking. That, of course, would be Dr. Teeth using his rhymes and what I imagine he’d call his “vocabulariation” to answer Hilda-related questions.
If his talk of her hemming...
Ah, who could ever forget the Eastern European wardrobe lady herself? She was a recurring part of the show during the days when Fozzie had a slightly wide mouth, Gonzo was more solemn than strange, Miss Piggy switched between Frank Oz and Richard Hunt, Sam introduced Wayne and Wanda on a regular...
It turns out that, although Piggy is bummed about not being chosen, she for one is happy that Foo-Foo has a turn. Check her account on Instagram or wherever you find it on social media.
I, too, knew Fozzie would be selected right after Statler and Waldorf. Also, I find those emoticons very creative (like Animal with a halo). If there are any other Muppets waiting to be used, we’d have to figure out what other moods and stuff can be used.
You know, when I look at the face...
Your way of bringing up the pair being showcased is not without wit. I wonder what those senior spectators think.
W: Imagine that! We’re part of the Muppets’ 70th anniversary campaign.
S: Well, better now than later.
W: Why’s that?
S: If they did the campaign for the 75th anniversary, it...

That marks four times somebody from my ‘Maybe’ list got featured (five, if you count the penguins). Fancy that! So far, Howard is the fifth pig to be showcased.
I realize this particular discussion has been dormant for years, but I’d like to mention that it’s been one decade since the backstabbing “higher up bosses of bosses of bosses” decided to cancel WOY, one week before S2 premiered. As you may recall, I’d been finding ways to make the world aware...
It’s been years since I watched Muppets Now. The second I saw the screaming goat, I immediately thought of Muppets’ Haunted Mansion because of its pupils.
Since the goat and the legal weasel have been featured, I’m much more certain the turkey (Beverly Plume) will also be featured.
This piece of news recently popped up - the short seemingly inspired a point of interest coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next year: The Magic of Disney Animation!
In the poster, you can see Mickey and Minnie in their outfits Mickey’s Birthday Party, also worn in the short.
