Snap Lock System?
I'm interested in using a snap lock system for a puppets hand. Problem is I don't know what this system is called or where to get parts for something like this. It involves a smaller tube with a spring loaded ball and a bigger tube with a hole to ft the ball. I have a picture...
I found that there are alot of bands out there that covered Rainbow Connection! The funk version of "Can You Picture That" was an amazing breath of fresh air! Great song that captures the muppet groove!
They should compile a bunch of recordings by the Electric Mayhem and make an album! That...
I was thinking something a little more sturdy.
By the way, people keep referring to puppet planet for building tips. All I see there is a store selling puppets. Theres no builders page or anything like that!
Whats the best way to make a removable puppet arm? I've ben researching my brains out to find something in the nature of a snap on snap off kind of thing!
I've heard some rock versions of muppet songs such as:
Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies - Rainbow Connection
Less Than Jake - Rainbow Connection
Jamestowne - Rainbow Connection
Allister - Fraggle Rock
Has anyone heard other rock versions of muppet songs?
:sing:
What about that pattern for 50 bucks!! Jeez! I know its a pattern and all but it would be nice if it was a little more forgiving as far as price is concerned. I'd pay 20 or even 30 bucks for a good pattern, but 50 bucks is asking for alot!
From the way the article makes it sound, it would be too much of a pain to sculpt, mold and cast unless you need to make many of the same puppet. (as in the case of Piggy)
I think I'll just stick with the sheet foam method. :D
I've seen photos of Piggy and other muppets and noticed that they have very shapely heads that look almost as good without fleece!
I used to think the builders would actually sculpt piggy's head from a block of foam, but now I realize that thats just too tedious for anyone and takes too long...
Anyone ever see any episodes or clips of foreign projects by the sesame workshop (such as Takalani Sesame, Plaza Sesamo, Sesam Straat, Sippurei Sesame or Sesamstrasse) available online?
