Personally, imagining gypsy as mothly was amusing. All kinds of clothes running for cover, mothballs the size of bowling balls, etc.
And although she is tied in to the "higher functions" of the ship, she's no comparison to Kirk. She can't boss the others around (although she did tell them to...
I'm not sure...I don't drink as much milk anymore since the Missus switched to 1%...
well, that and the fact that Trix changed from puffs to fruit shapes. It makes the flavor more concentrated, and less appetizing. Plus I see no problem with giving some to the dang bunny.
It could be worse...it could be between a robot and a turtle or something...
You know, I feel kind of left out! Therefore, I think I'm going to claim the part of Dr. Larry Erhardt!
So there!
:p
I think perhaps that would be "motherly"?
Also Gypsy wasn't the captain as much as she just kept things running. Distracting her by making her watch the movie would cause things to stop working like gravity, or oxygen, or something.
And she had a thing for Richard Basehart.
Which reminds me...
Would this be further security concerns about Beaker? Someone else had problems getting their Muppet labs through airport security.
Perhaps it's because Beaker and Bert have the same general hairstyle...and we all remember the Bert-Bin Laden posters, right?
Hmmmmmm......
The Henson company sold off the rights to the Sesame Street muppets to Sesame Workshop (formerly CTW). I think this is probably an okay thing, especially if someone buys Henson like Disney who could make things real difficult for the Sesame folks. Having them control their own muppets should...
Gee, I got the penguin twice in only ten minutes of refreshing...
and I never saw Statler without Waldorf (or vice versa).
Actually, I don't think I saw Jamie either...maybe I'd better go spend another 10 minutes just hitting refresh...
They all loaded fine for me, although small is accurate
That tends to be a consistant thing for the Palisades site anyway though...Click daily bit and a little pop-up window comes up instead of just loading a new full sized page...
perhaps the new web designer they're looking for will help...
Actually, the bases are being phased out. Only characters that need the help standing will come with them. Ken has also suggested that they'll likely explore selling the bases separately through the club.
You know, I've seen this "movie line" or movie wave question come up three times...
never gonna catch Ken at this rate
What's going on over there? The llamas taking all the computer time? It's been very quiet lunch hours this week...
*Listens for a very feeble Help! I've fallen under my cat and I can't get up! *
Re: Luke
It's like a slot machine...
I've got three frogs...what do I win?
:)
Nicely done. Hope I have sufficient flash at home... Now I just need the forum to cooperate and I'll be happy!
You know...that reminds me...
one of the big billboards that went up after 9/11 (one of those public service type things) proclaimed "UNITY... makes America great" which always seemed odd to me because all growing up I had been led to believe that it was America's diversity that made it so...
For some reason, ever since the new look for the site came into being, my forum interaction has been all screwy.
When I first get to the forum I see everything as it should be, unread markers et al. Then, as soon as I click on a topic (folder, whatever) it resets EVERYTHING as read so I have...
