I loved that. Really subtle. Also loved hearing Steve do "Happy Feet," although I'm willing to guess we won't actually hear it in the movie.
Also, Kermit getting hit by the door is quickly growing old on me. Hasn't it been in nearly every trailer? And we STILL DON'T KNOW WHO'S OPENING THAT DOOR!!!
My beef isn't really with whether or not it's artistic. My beef is the message it sends to people that they seem to swear by, and I just don't think it's a positive one.
I can't watch that movie without feeling like I need to take a shower afterward. Someday I'll speak out on it here but I think it's a deeply pessimistic film with a very ugly message for human beings.

Since this is bumped, the only real connection I can think of - Doc's real name is Jerome Crystal. Or... Doc Crystal.
I don't know if this was ever "hinted at," per se, but I do wish we'd gotten a Boober/Cantus episode. If any Fraggle needed Cantus, I honestly believe it was Boober.
Would love to see Jason and Nick Stoller take on The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made. That would be a lovely tribute to Jim and Jerry Juhl, if done right. But whatever they do, you're right - The Great Muppet Caper works because of how different it is to The Muppet Movie. It's basically a romp.
