Its alright Duke, we all have topics that we are sensitive about. I'm sure that dr.tooth didn't mean to upset anyone.
Sometimes things that others say will hit a nerve, and one just needs to rant. I understand what you were trying to say.
Its understandable. And I know how you feel, I am a fan...
I was able to see the Pigeon episode today, and yes; very disappointing that Bert was only see briefly at the beginning and end of the street story.
I am really getting sick of this.
Why do the writers hate the classic characters so much? Would it really have been so hard to include Bert in...
Unfortunately I missed the most recent episode.
But again, I am really sick of seeing nothing but the newer characters from the early 90's and beyond getting most of the screen time.
Judging from what I've heard of the newest episode, it really makes me mad.
Would it kill them to let the...
I like the video and I don't think that it should have been pulled from television, but I have to wonder;
Didn't anyone who was on set that day think to themselves "Hmmm, her outfit might get us in trouble"?
Well, humans would usually just run away from him. ;)
I have to say, this is a horrible idea. I am so sick of classic toons in a live-action CGI films. The toons always end up looking creepy and off-putting.
Yes. That's my understanding.
According to Wikipedia, Starz Animation produced Gomeno and Juliet. (Confirmed on their official website)
Here is some info about them and some of their other productions;

I don't think it will.
John Lasseter is only chief creative officer at Disney Animation Studios.
Disney Animation didn't make this film, so its not like their reputation is at stake.
Now, I doubt that anyone went over his head. That would not be wise. But its not like he had any control in...
The street story has not been spread out in years, and probably never will be again.
According to the recent Sesame Street book, Dr. Rosemarie Truglio took over as vice president of education and research for the show in season 29, the show's demographics were skewing younger that when the show...
In the lasted "D23's DisneyGeek" video on youtube, the new Muppet film is mentioned. The release date is mentioned as well as writers/director.
According to the video, the plot details and title are being kept "under tight-wraps".
Yes, its really annoying that so much is being recycled.
Now, I realize that young children learn through repetition, but it certainly does seem to be a budget issue.
Seeing the same Super Grover 2.0 segment? Pathetic.
Its kind of making me nervous about season 42, it will probably just get...
There are many theaters that offer a 3D film in 2D as well. So customers are often given a choice.
Apparently people are not going to movie theaters as much as they used to. I think that's one of the reasons why 3D is "hot" again. I guess the newer technology with the glasses is another reason.
Indeed!
I saw the trailer today and I am really not interested in this film at all. It should not have been made.
Oh well.
On the plus side, thanks to John Lasseter, Disney Animation Studios has made quality their top priority again.
And if this Gnome film bombs, at least its a Touchstone...
Don't get me wrong. Telly and Baby Bear and great, especially together.
But I don't want to the show to be dominated by all of the newer Muppets. At times, classic characters like Grover, Cookie, and Bert have been seen so little, that one would wonder if they ever live on the street anymore!
...Oh, and one more quick note about Gnomeo and Juliet;
I just found out from Wikipedia that initially, the film was going to be produced by Disney Animation, but John Lasseter shut it down. So eventually Touchstone got it.
So, another reason to be thankful for John Lasseter!
And its...
Also, I have a complaint, this is not limited to season 41;
I am sick of seeing nothing but Telly, Elmo, Abby, Rosita, Baby Bear, and Zoe involved in street stories.
Yes, recently they have used some of the more classic characters, but not too much.
Would it kill them to have Grover, Cookie...
