Thanks! Actually, my first graphic novel, Dead Duck, was just released in comic shops nationally last week. Unfortunately, my publisher did a very small print run, we sold out completely, and for reasons not entirely understood, they're not doing a second print run. You may be able to find some...
Well, it's been over a year, but I've created a new Gorch strip if anyone's still interested! You can check it out here: http://fourpanelhero.deviantart.com/art/GORCH-BUT-NOT-FORGOTTEN-7-146971592
Actually, Wild Things author Maurice Sendak was friends with Jim Henson, and I always suspected there was some cross-influence in their work, especially Jim being inspired by Where The Wild Things Are.
I agree--even as a fan of Tim Burton, his track record for working with established properties (i.e. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) have been a bit lackluster. Jonez really seems on the ball with Wild Things.
Now, I heard the Creature Shop build the monster bodies, but the heads were CGI...
Hi! I'm Jay Fosgitt, aka Lowercasegods, longtime Muppet Central member and professional cartoonist. I just wanted to announce that I'm working on "DEAD DUCK", my first graphic novel, which comes out November from Ape Entertainment. And today, I've launched the online Dead Duck comic at...

I...
I'd bet that once they're collected into a trade paperback they'll be sold at Borders. Borders doesn't tend to sell a lot if any single comic book issues.
I'm still thinking their were character likeness issues which made him take these severe liberties in drawing the Muppets. That, at least, wouldn't be the artist's fault, more Big Boy's, I think.
Ooh.
I see what you're saying. It definitely puts a halt on wanting to rag on what we perceive to be a bad artist. It definitely gives you pause to think before you insult someone's work. It certainly does me, anyway...
I think it stands for Ain't Even an Artist. I go back to my theory that he was a big Big Boy dishwasher who was paid for drawing the comic in discarded floor fries.
Part of me is glad this long lost "treasure" has been brought to the Muppet fan masses...but the other part of me feels like it owes everyone a big ol' apology because this is so horrible.
The apologetic side has overpowered me. I am sooooo sorry.
Curse you, Big Boy, and your off-model...
