Truth. They'll almost certainly end up using Muppets instead of townsfolk, though - which shouldn't be too tough. I also think it would probably end up being the length of the finale, since there was a huge hubbub made a few years ago about how much time the Best Original Song performances took up.
It'd probably be the finale version, since Kermit and Piggy each have lines in that? There's not much difference, except that the one at the end has the line "We can be whatever we want to be."
You know... I really loved "Me Party." No, it has no bearing on the plot whatsoever... but man, it's fun, and she does a great job with it. And I've started using the phrase "me party" a lot.
Muppet continuity is something I think about a lot. It's getting more and more complicated all the time, but someday I will write a thesis (of a sort) that makes sense of it all. Someday.
This movie is infuriating some people, but honestly? All of the jokes in the trailer - except for the iPhone gag and the nun in the bikini - could have been pulled right from sixty-year old routines. I'm not sure what people expected. I'm not saying it looks GOOD, but it just looks exactly like...
There's still not really a definitive biography on Jim's life. The Works is probably the best. I feel like, at this point, with all the interviews out there, it's time for someone to write something.
It looks great! My only suggestion is whitening the top part of his eyes - I know they're his eyebrows but he looks a little manic, and not in the fun way :o But he's wonderful!
I thought about posting it and then thought twice. But anyone who wants a great laugh ought to look up "Patton Oswalt Christmas Shoes" on YouTube. Warning: definitely NOT suitable for work or kiddos.
"I may have died for your sins but those pumps are unforgivable!"
Steve will be explaining why in the next podcast (which should land after the 1st of 2012) - I don't know why, but he hinted at it very strongly in his most recent episode, but never said it outright. He told folks they could ask him on Facebook or e-mail, but that he'll say much more in the...
www.muppetcast.com! Roughly four years of really good Muppet podcasting by a good guy named Steve. Lots of interviews, with the likes of Frank Oz, Kevin Clash, Dave Goelz Steve Whitmire and Jerry Nelson showing up! Dig in. It's unfortunately ending very soon, but it had a great run.
I guess it depends on where you look. Everyone I've spoken to at the several protests I've been to have no complaints about their coffee or technology. If you can point me towards them, I'll gladly do my part and tell them there are more important things happening.
When I first saw the trailer for it, when Jill turned around, someone sitting near me said, "Ha ha! It's him! Oh man!"
So, Rick Perry could become President, is what I'm saying.
