I see. I tell ya, I almost got the Red with DVD on eBay, but I got outbid at the last minute. However, I have the complete series and another Red I bought from a seller, so I guess I came out on top. :coy:
Now I see why Manhattan Toy should make smaller fraggles for those with modest budgets...
I agree, the main line is a little pricey, despite the size (I'd say they may be life size). Then again, the Sababas I've seen are no better, but that's resale. I'm guessing they weren't that expensive new?
As for any other brand, I'm having a second opinion on the Hasbro line. I'm starting...
Yeah, Kung Fu Panda was a masterpiece in my eyes. I haven't seen Shrek 4 yet, so I don't have any opinion on that one, but Shrek 3 kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. :smirk:
As for Shark Tale, the less said about that abomination, the better. :boo:
I agree with that first fact. I will take the reviews with a grain of salt, but in the end, I make my own opinion.
Same goes for Cars 2. If it's more of the same, Pixar bringing us the proverbial goods like they did with the Toy Story series, that's great, but on the flip-side, if it's a...
I'm a little hesitant on this one. Something tells me this film may only be made solely for merchandising purposes. On the other hand, Pixar proved they can indeed do sequels well (Toy Story, anyone?).
Don't get me wrong, I have the utmost confidence in Pixar, since TS3 was a huge and I mean...
My gifts:
-An iPod Touch 3rd gen (I love this thing, I may go for some Muppety apps soon like the Fraggle books or one of the Sesame apps)
-Tom and Jerry Spotlight Collection Vol. 1 (I already have volume 2, I need to get volume 3 and the Chuck Jones collection to have every T and J out there...
Me-Do you think they'll hear me from here, guys?
Cantus-Of course, James, the bells can be heard anywhere. We've already awoken the great bell, and any more will just add to the lively spirit.
Mokey and Wembley nodded in agreement.
Me-We'll do it tonight, after we play Dirty Santa. We'll open...
Me-Aww, thank you , guys! I love you all.
Mokey-I got you this. (Holds up a bag of picks)
Cantus-My present's in the closet- (Goes to the closet and gets out a brand new guitar)
Me-This is officially the best birthday ever. Now to get ready for the karaoke.
Me-(Notices the poster)Hey, this looks like fun, and it's on my birthday!
Wembley-You should do it, James! Me and you could do a song.
Me-Yeah, and Mokey I know is a great singer. We could be a trio. Now for what song to do...
Whenever I get some covers done (They aren't Grammy worthy, but good given the amount of equipment I have at my disposal) I'll send some your way. :D
P.S.I'm trying to do some Electric Mayhem covers too (Like "You Can't Take No for an Answer" or "Can Ya Picture That?")
I could imagine him singing that too, maybe that "Hey hey hey, goodbye" song too. Basically any song that involves nonsensical lyrics or scat singing is Wembley territory in my eyes. :coy:
Me-Oh thank you. (Reads the note) I'll have to cook one of these for when he gets back. (Sips some hot cocoa) I love this stuff, especially with extra marshmallows.
Wembley-What is that?
Me-Hot cocoa, a nice drink for when it's chilly outside.
Wembley-Could I try some?
Me-I don't see why...
