Why don't they make Sesame Street CD players?

I think they should make Sesame Street CD players.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 35

Well, if Guy Smiley was played in 2001 by Steve Whitmire, why wasn't he used as the game show host for the episode with the Sesame Street Squares Game?

When does Sesame Street come on on your station?

I miss it when Sesame Street used to come on at 5:00 pm on my station. Now it's only on at 6:00 am and 9:00 and 10:00 am on my station. I hope someday WGBH will place Sesame Street on a new time slot(specifically late afternoon).

    I miss Guy Smiley

Actually, they have recast Guy Smiley. In 2001, he appeared in the main street story of a season 32 episode in which Maria has many emergency toaster repairs. Guy was put as one of Maria's patrons as opposed to a game show host, and Dantecat says Guy was played by Steve Whitmire in that episode.

Why don't they make Sesame Street CD players?

In the 70s and 80s, Fisher-Price used to make Sesame Street record players. But how come today, with CDs as state-of-the-art, they don't make Sesame Street CD players?

Why is Susan rarely seen on Sesame Street?

I mean the Susan that was played by Loretta Long and was put with Gordon(you know, the black one).

Why is Susan rarely seen on Sesame Street?

I haven't seen her for a while. What happened to Susan?
  8. S

What happened to all the classic clips?

Well, with only 26 episodes, numbers could only be used once or twice. Also, the show doesn't use as many clips as it used to, and in season 35, many new guest star and parody clips debuted such as Dr. Feel, Larry King, Norah Jones Don't Know "Y", Far From Seven, and TriangleBob TrianglePants...

What would you like to see on Sesame Street in season 36?

I'd like to see the song, "Together We'll Make Music" with Garth Brooks.

I hope Season 36 has more episodes, more old clips

Seasons 34 and 35 of the TV show Sesame Street. If it's PBS who wanted Sesame Street to have only 26 episodes per season, maybe we should speak to them. If Sesame Workshop made that decision, maybe we should talk to them. This concept of 26 episodes might have been one of the spells of the...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 35

Was the song, "Together We'll Make Music" with Garth Brooks used in Season 35?

Telly as Monster on the Spot - thoughts?

Telly was in that position before in a segment of a season 34 episode entitled, "Monster on the Spot/Play of the Day." I would love to see Kermit again, but Sesame Workshop no longer owns the rights to him, so they might as well do some Telly monster, "Monster on the Spot" stuff.

What would you like to see on Sesame Street in season 36?

If they keep Journey to Ernie, they should have Bert look for Ernie instead of Big Bird.

I hope Sesame Workshop never sells the company

But would Disney give the show all the classic clips like the Martian Beauty, Alligator King, We all Live in a Capital I, etc.?

I hope Sesame Workshop never sells the company

Just imagine if Disney bought the rights to Sesame Street! But if Disney owned the rights to Sesame Street, would Sesame Street still air on PBS? And would Disney give Sesame Street more than 26 episodes?
  16. S

What would you like to see on Sesame Street in season 36?

I think Lenny the Lizard made an appearance in an episode of Between the Lions.
  17. S

I hope Season 36 has more episodes, more old clips

Save money to produce new series? But they've discontinued the production of episodes of Dragon Tales and Sagwa! Why isn't Sesame Street top priority anymore?
  18. S

I hope Season 36 has more episodes, more old clips

Seasons 34 and 35 have been pretty short, and they haven't had many old clips. Since there are no more new episodes of Dragon Tales, and Sagwa is on hiatus/TBD(they haven't made any new episodes), I would assume Sesame Workshop could regain the money for many episodes. And I hope next season...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 35

So DrTooth, it's actually harder to use Kermit than it is to use Guy Smiley. Guy Smiley actually was recast in 2001(it might have been Steve Whitmire), but for Kermit the Frog, since Sesame Workshop no longer owns the rights to Kermit, it would be expensive to use Kermit.

Your Favorite Cartoons on Sesame Street

I like the Alligator King and the Martian Beauty. In fact, I've made some cartoons about the seventh son playing with the Martian Beauty.
