Uh, unless there are two different versions of this floating about, only Twiggy's first number ("In My Life") was replaced. All her other segments are present and correct.
It is possible that this change was made due to rights issues clearing the Beatles song for broadcast in Germany back in...
There's been a slight misunderstanding here :-) There are two DVD sets available on this side of the pond.
The 2-disc UK set features the UK edits of the shows, with Fulton Mackay as the Captain, who is a lighthouse-keeper. Fraggle Rock is the name of the rock on which the lighthouse...
I'd be astounded if they did keep the original shot, since all copies of this shot have the ATV/ITC logos and copyright messages superimposed on them, and it is highly unlikely that Disney/Henson would release shows which carry copyright messages for a company that a) no longer owns the...
I assume you're talking about a reel of film?
Something under this (or a very similar) title appears on eBay very regularly - I spot at least two or three auctions a week. If they're all film prints, then someone is probably duplicating from their copy, which is illegal.

I can't get anywhere with their site - can someone tell me who I need to email about this please? :-)
Thanks!
The site may be down for a brief period as I'm having to move ISPs, so if you can't find her, don't panic! She'll be back as soon as possible, and I'll post the new URL here.
It was the first one taped, but shows were not necessarily taped in the same order they aired, and in any case shows aired in different orders in different countries.
I wouldn't put too much faith in the TV Tome guide myself. The first time I saw it, they had the John Denver episode listed as...

Not much, I'm afraid. The squeak is usually caused by one of two things: either the cassette mechanism is wearing out, or the lubricant on the tape is drying out.
If it's the first case, then you can try opening the cassette up and transferring the tape spools to a cassette shell taken from...
It's cut, although nowhere near as badly as the US release.
Basically, there are three versions of this special. The original, which hasn't been seen since its 1987 airing, runs to around 48 minutes and includes five breaks for commercials. This was re-edited a year or so later, at which...
TG4.
I don't know how many - or which - shows they have. Transmissions are intermittent; that is, they'll run a few shows and then take a break for a few weeks. Shows are dubbed into Gaelic, the end credits have been replaced with Gaelic-language versions, and at least one show (George...
It's not an 'episode'. It's an 'end-of-show' thing, made by and for the cast and crew, and never intended for public consumption :-) The whole thing is one long in-joke, complete with references to crew members whom the average viewer probably wouldn't recognise, much less understand why the...
Yet people still write oh-so-hilarious letters when a TV station airs a letterboxed movie: "I'm paying for a full picture here, I don't want you cropping the top and bottom off!"
