i realized I was old when kids i use to babysit started graduating high school and college and getting married and having kids of their own.. that ages ya.... and now, my oldest step daughter is having a baby! and i'm only 33!

well, when it comes to Piggy.. i for one wouldn't mind if she were made the same way as kermit.. (fabric over foam).. while not 100% accurate.. if it comes to it, I'd rather make that change then have her rot over the next 5-10 years....

definately get as much education as you can... but just remember.. plans change, sometimes drastically.... for the longest time, all through high school, I had planned on becoming a veterinarian... but my senior year, i discovered that I had an allergy that would cause some serious problems...

Competition is fine.. we bought Kermit at a discount last year (though not much of one..) and we still haven't decided who we'll be buying Animal through.. or when.. MR gets their money regardless of where they are bought from and there are still plenty of people here who will buy from the MC...

woohoo for you! that's great news. my trek is going very very slowly i'm afraid. Since I posted a year ago I went to the doctor and found out what had been going on with me. Lots of problems.. PCOS and insulin resistance being the big ones.. I've since been put on meds to regulate everything...

even if he doesn't.. it's easy enough to find spiked collars and chain.. heh.. thanks.. the sabers were amazingly easy to do.. just some metal pipe hubby cut and polished then assorted odds and ends (adhesive foam, wiper blades, metal fittings and such like) depending on the size of piping...

oh i'm so jealous, would hav loved to have gone out there... but that sounds like a great idea.... hubby and i made our own lightsabers (well, handles only) a few years ago when ep 3 came out... we could easily make one small enuf for kermie.. hrm.. will have to start looking for all the doodads...

we don't mind the fall shipment thing so much, but then, hubby and I both have September birthdays, so they arrive as birthday presents :)

I have to second pretty much all of what's been said.. and can completely understand what you're going though.. my health problems aren't nearly that severe, thankfully, though one never knows what the future holds.. my father was diabetic and my mother has MS, so all of our family vacations...

Hey.. we currently have 18 pet mice.. though they are all getting old and dying off now.. and then dogs... Pepe is our little female pommie.. (she's my avatar..) Willow is my step daughter's jack russell terrier Rocky was our little male pommie, but he passed away last month from kidney...

i want to know shipping dates (or approximate ones anyway...) too.. let me know if i'd have time to get the $ together for both or not *sigh*
