The street story was pretty good. I liked Rudy's song. And Grover thinking you had to curtsy to a dog and him losing his lunchbag to the dogs. The Kindness 1 sketch was very good. I liked Leslie's performance of Henrietta and Stephanie's performance as the computer and the dog-owning alien.
That's not true. Billy's been a puppeteer for a while before he became Ernie. He played a character named Buster on the TV show Kid Fitness. Since people have been saying he's not a very good singer after hearing him sing as Ernie, skip to 5:00 on this video to see just how well he really can...
I saw Facebook pictures of David Bizzaro on the set of the Sesame 80s video and he might be a puppeteer for Season 48. So here's the episodes with him: http://gettingfeltup.libsyn.com/21-david-bizzaro, http://gettingfeltup.libsyn.com/david-bizzaros-petrifying-puppets-things-that-are-scary,
From ALF's Hit Talk Show.
ALF: I wanna give you folks a break from that drivel that's out there on TV. I think it is anyway. (Audience cheers) That big show CSI, now they got CSI Miami, and then they got CSI New York. I figured out what CSI stands for: Copying Same Idea! (Audience cheers) I'm...
This is the first time in a year that Fallon has had a Muppet on. I hope this means Elmo will come back soon. He needs to redeem himself after that awkward cooking segment:
This episode was great. Rudy's a nice addition, and it's wonderful that Frankie Cordero finally has a character. David Rudman's voice for the dad was the least David sounding voice I ever heard him do.
So sorry for not talking about this earlier, but I was on vacation in Dallas. Anyway, this was the first public appearance of Peter Linz playing Statler. The whole thing was just kinda mediocre.
To quote JD Hansel on his podcast: Matt's voice for the Count doesn't sound exactly like Jerry's voice for the Count, but it's hard to care about that when A: doing voices that are less character-y and more natural is always extremely difficult and B: he perfectly captures the Count's passion...
The bookends with Ernie and Bert were funny. The bit with Anthony Mackie was fun. Ryan and Leslie gave great performances as the ingredients. Nice to see Cookie's cameo in EW.
ALF: My big thing is I can't get over the humans' obsession with celebrities. Everybody wants to know about celebrities. Who cares? Don't they have lives of their own to be worried about? Who cares about who broke up with who, who went to rehab?
The cold open with Elmo and a bear, (that was John Kennedy right?), was fun. I was really impressed how they handled the Number of the Day being zero. It gives me hope that by next season, the new Letter and Number of the Day songs will be permanent. I liked Big Bird and Oscar appearing in EW...
Look at this message Peter sent me: https://www.facebook.com/peterlinzpuppeteer/posts/1128414190636484?comment_id=1128582800619623&ref=notif¬if_t=feed_comment¬if_id=1500348145830941 I hope this doesn't mean Billy's not with Sesame anymore, cause he's a talented performer.
The bookends with Elmo and Ernie were fun. It was great to see a new episode of Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures. Bert's bit in the new EW is the most dialogue any Muppet other than Elmo has had on the new EW so far.
To quote JD Hansel on his podcast: Here's what really ticked me off, when people would say "I don't know that he's done the voice as well in other movies, I thought the voice was closer in MCC", because I heard people say stuff like that, and it's like no. Steve Whitmire at a certain point, by...
Read this post from Jarrod and hopefully, you'll understand that even though you might be angry at Disney for this decision, you should still support any future Muppet projects: https://muppetmindset.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/a-rock-a-hard-place/
