I think in Muppets From Space I heard that rather than records on the cieling, there are CD's. But Palisades' bus will have records, right?
Anyway that's GREAT NEWS that Richard Hunt's as well as Jim Henson's (besides Kermit) puppets are coming back for a bit!
I was beginning to seriously...
for C'irdan
If Janice is in the new X-Mas movie, who's performing her????
and....I hope this is okay, but it WAS released at Toy Fair...

Now, to my understanding (Ken please correct me if I'm wrong) this was the PLANNED...
YAY! More Janice fans uniting!!!
As long as she's still following the concept art that we've seen from ToyFait coverage (in a mock-up cardback) I'll be happy.
And C'irdan, you're absolutely right...she must be like in TMM because that's where the bus accessory ;) is based on.
BAH! Another body hair joke from Ken!
But yeah that Muppet Stage from Star Jars that Dr. Tooth linked to us is sweeeeet. I love that embossed "Muppet Show" logo. What's the status on it's availability? (Forgive me if this is a stupid question)
Yup yup yup, the Dark Crystal's on DVD. My girlfriend got it for me just because. :D
It's got a VERY interesting featurette, Jim performing, Frank Oz add-libbing, and deleted scenes, and original work print scenes that had Frank Oz's voice as Auhgra and all the original languages of the Skeksis...
I heard above the "skeletal-build-it-yourself" idea, and I immediately thought of Ultarama playsets. They have many levels for display, are customizable, and have the ability to show background placards for scenery.
While I actually would prefer the small $30 ish playset, that idea could be...
Well, here's a pic on a Daily Bit in Palisades' site of the robot rabbit they were going after:

Seems pretty close to me. I'm gonna start customizing Muppets as well...soon as they go on sale. I've already repainted an extra...
Well...no wonder Sideshow's figures didn't sell, they looked very far from the puppets in terms of their face and hair. IMO, which is probably very very ludicrous, I think a few reasons led to the markdown **** for the 12" Dark Crystal figures.
1) The likenessess, while good, may have turned...
And...is that Skeksis in scale with the Jen and Kira 12" figure from Sideshow? And have you done an Augrah? I'm so glad that the MEGA Muppets are in scale with the Sideshow Gelflings! I can't wait to have Jen with Beaker!
BTW Ken, IF IF IF you guys got awarded the Dark Crystal license, would...
Well Ken has posted time and time again that the reason some varients are coming out first is because they want to have a recognizable "anchor" figure for every wave to the bitter end. I think it's a great idea and I hope that it works well for Palisades, because if it works well for them it...
Not just your opinion, dude. She's gotta have it! Also I heard on the FAQ that she's left-handed...when in TMM she holds it the same way Floyd does. Or maybe Floyd is left handed and I don't know guitar Lingo, which is quite possible ;)
I think that's a great idea! Janice is always seen...
I hope Series 2 is going well. As Palisades has shown in the past, they're pretty good at getting their product out on time. I hope series 2 will be on time! CAN...NOT...WAIT...NEED...MORE...MUPPETS
Also, since this is the "Ask Ken" topic, could you answer a couple questions about Janice? I...
Man, I don't even care for Link Hogthrob but the figure is awesome! I CANNOT WAIT to see Statler and Waldorf and Janice!!!Palisades you have all my faith as a toy company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd love to see Kermit on a bike...with Banjo and pack. Ditto all your other ideas but I would love to see a Ghost of Christmas Yet to come...or I couls just glue some creepy hands onto my Ringwraith figure.
But Kermit's Swamp Years figures? Save the plastic!Yech what an awful movie...
I was actually just thinking that! I at first thought that 12" scale was right but the Muppets are about an inch or so out of scale. Oh well. My 8" Universal Monsters are the closest in-scale human size I've seen, too bad there's not a lot of them. I wish that the Muppets were an eensy weensy...
TMM: Kermit on bike w/banjo &suitcase
