If anyone wants to trade MP3's with me, I'm looking for the 1986 Sesame Street song "Rebel L" - even though the video on youtube looks and sounds GREAT - because I assume an mp3 from the original CD will sound even better! Thank you!
I didn't see "This Is It" yet, but even though "Living with Michael Jackson" had some great moments with Michael, I did NOT like the way Bashir said terrible things about him in the TV version of the documentary after making Michael feel comfortable by praising him. To learn what I mean, I...
And I think it would be even worse if someone tried to replace Jim as Ernest - one time I saw a video of someone else (after Jim Varney passed) trying to be Ernest, and there was a comment below it that answered concise, strong, loud, and clear: "Shameful." And rightly so; no offense to the guy...
I have not yet read the rest of this thread - but I just want this on record: I think Jim Varney was a fantastic talent, and from all accounts I have heard and read, a really sweet, kind hearted man. And while for the most part we only miss those we actually met in real life, there are people...
Great choice! Marty was also in an episode of the original 1975 show "The Ghost Busters" - it starred Larry Storch, Forrest Tucker, and Tracy the Gorilla (Trained by Bob Burns) - it's on DVD now, and I suggest it highly to anyone! :)
Thanks for the message. It would be cool to talk about it with someone who remembers it, and I figured this would be the only place that could ever happen. But I definitely understand if no one else ever saw it, that's for sure!:D Prodigy ended in 1999 I read. I didn't have it after that summer...
AMAZING idea! Right on! They even could've put them on together! Muddy teaches Oscar about the blues, and then the Stones talk about how they learned the blues from Muddy's songs (and Mick saying how Brian Jones named the band after a Muddy song). Then they could all play the blues together, and...
Well...
I see no one here (even ones who may have had Prodigy for a couple weeks trial thing such as I) remembers it, but I promise I didn't make it up!
:batty:It happened!:insatiable::super:
A really great powerful song that says to appreciate the people who love you, spend time with them whenever you can, and tell them how much you love them while you are lucky enough to have them around.
While I agree it wasn't like the show or the movies, I thought "Chaos At The Carnival" really looked and sounded cool, it's just that certain parts were very difficult beyond all reason, and I don't think they meant it to be so frustrating, but Kermit's water raft (which seemed to have glitches...
In the summer of 1994 I used Prodigy to go on the internet. That was the first time I was ever online like that, and all I recall is looking up info on the Pink Panther, Atari games, reading about that night's episode of Dinosaurs ("Driving Miss Ethyl") on a TVGuide type page, and then reading...
Fluppy Dogs
I know them! They are good, indeed! :)
Here is part one:

And honestly, I knew them before youtube existed! :)
My favorite will always be: "It's a good time/for the great taste/of McDonald's" which probably has a lot more to do with nostalgia...but at any rate, I think it sounds best.
I agree Ilikemuppets, Flim Flam was cool, as was the addition of Vincent Price playing Vincent Van Ghoul! I also liked when Shaggy and Scooby sang "Me and My Shadow Demon" ...
I must add The Wuzzles to my list of shows :)
