Another Miss Muffet bit I can recall was one where Oscar was telling his Grouchkateers fractured versions of the familiar tales (in this case, "Little Miss Muffet sat on an elephant..."), and Gordon had to correct them to their proper versions.
Would we consider some of the things she says about Jenny in regards to what she considers to be her advances on Kermit in TMTM to constitute verbal abuse?
OK, in that case here comes #7 down below:
“But I’m telling you, I need to get back East as soon as possible!” a frustrated Alicia Reiser was screaming at the purple woman manning the Cross-American Airlines desk at LAX behind a nametag labeled HELLO MY NAME IS MILDRED, “I’ve waited all...
Here's #6:
“Und hieren tossen die cranberren huuuup!” the Swedish Chef tossed several cranberries up in the air and smashed them with a mallet, “Wir haar instanten cranberren saucen! Und mur cranberren huuuuup, und mur cranberren saucen. Und mur cranberren huuup…”
“I think you’ve got...
And here's Part 5:
“This is it, this is the Fraggle hole,” Robin proclaimed, pointing at the large hole in the basement wall. Zachary bent down and glanced inside. “So?” he asked, not convinced, “There’s a cave, but that doesn’t prove anything.”
“Why are you so convinced there’s...
You know, I'd forgotten about that bit for years until it was brought up here. It was a rather amusing bit that I enjoyed watching. Oscar's always at his most amusing when he tries to get the best of Telly.
I agree there just is something creepy about The Terrible Tunnel. As it was heavily in the episode rotation even in later seasons, I did get to see it quite a bit in my formative years. The actual level of terror in the tunnel itself varies; perhaps the scariest part for me was when the...
How about the last years the longer-running ones aired on their respective networks? I know HBO ran Emmett Otter at least to 1990, since my 3rd grade class watched a copy taped off the network with HBO's graphics from that year on the tape before the show began. Did they switch it to Nickelodeon...
What I'm asking in this post is on which networks and for how long (as in consecutive years, or if they were one-shotters) the many Muppet specials (both holiday and with the regular characters in special occasions) aired over the years. I hope the way I've worded this isn't confusing.
And here's Chapter #4:
The door to the elevator slid open, revealing Sweetums at the controls. “All aboard,” the large monster said as everyone stepped on board, ”You want me to check your luggage?”
“If you feel like it,” Alan told him. Sweetums produced a large marker and drew...
Here's Chapter 3. if you feel I'm going too fast in posting these feel free to tell me so:
“Here you go folks, the garage and rest stop,” Fozzie announced loudly over the bus’s intercom as he swung wide to the left toward the garage. The snowstorm had meant that it had taken him...
And, because I have extra time this evening, Chapter 2 as well:
As Christmas Eve morning dawned the next day in the city of Fieldton about fifty miles from where the theft had occurred, Alan Reiser sat in the den of his worn-down apartment reading the classified section of the...
Upon taking into account The Count's advice, I will repost the story one chapter at a time on this thread as time permits. At any rate, here's Chapter #1--again--for your viewing pleasure:

Dear Mr. Nelson,
I too am hopeful that things end up going well for you, and that many fruitful years lie ahead. Your influence on myself and indeed all of us around this planet of ours is incalcuable. :sing:
And Don Music tries to play "Happy Birthday" but resorts to head banging when he freezes up on the third word.
Richard still lives on in all our hearts.
