Darrell Hammond, a guy who's been on SNL now for longer than even Phil Hartman and Kevin Nealon, did a Bing Crosby impression this evening, and as Bing, he impersonated Johnny Carson, where he does the mind-reading of what's inside the envelope...
A car on fire
Star Jones
War in Iraq...
That's probably the best recurring sketch they have now... and what's with the female always saying, "That looks like a rabbit" in every sketch??!! It's a riot!
The "Just One Person" thing can't work if people in higher places aren't listening. Do you really believe that, even if people from Disney and Henson, Associates read the stuff we talk about, they'd even listen? They consider us, more or less, just obsessive fan freaks who got nothing better to...
There's a recurring sketch on SNL that's one of my favorites, and tonight's episode was "Two A-Holes Go To An Adoption Agency". They're a dim-litted couple who just say random things to tick off whoever else they're with... and at the end, the female goes, "We want our baby to look like this..."...
Well, I use the updated Windows Media Player right now, and I heard that iPods can't download music from there. Does the fact that mine's an iPod Nano change anything, in regards to downloading or other directions?
All lame jokes aside, I honestly believe that the Muppets have nothing new to offer. We've seen all they could do, and they've milked their talent dry since Jim's passing. Here we are, as forum member, coming to this site, not only to play games, share stories, and get to know each other, but...
I got an iPod for Christmas, but I only have Windows Media Player, and supposedly, I'm supposed to use iTunes... could anyone give me a link where I can download iTunes for free? I'm anxious to use it.
I don't know if anyone wants it or not, but I got Cookie Monster's "Six Cookies" song he did with Guy Smiley way back when... let me know if anyone's interested in having it.
I'm surprised not many of you listed "The Rock Goes On." I only wish they coulda added one last verse; it was too upbeat to end it so shortly lol. But I love pretty much anything by Mokey, some of Red and Wembley's, quite a few of Boobers, and every Gobo song.
What made Fozzie work so well back in the old days was how Frank made him just vounerable enough to still love even though his jokes weren't all that good. He was so lovable because when you saw Fozzie, you thought, when he stood by Kermit and the rest of the gang, that's the kinda best friend...
How interesting it is to find a post about this movie when lately all I've been trying to find at Best Buy IS this movie. I haven't seen it since I was a kid... it's one of a kind, to say the least!
If you guys think I'm making fun of people with tourettes, you REALLY need to see the main page on that website they have for him. Trust me, I may not have tourettes, but I've had my crosses to bear. People on the forum here who know me know exactly what I mean.
Okay, first off, Bear... the acting in it is horrible. And the guy is well aware of what he's doing while they're filming. This guy has low-grade tourettes, and they don't film him while he has the real spats. I labelled this as a mature audience viewing, and MC isn't just for kids.
