Well, I'm using a roly pattern, and I'm not sure how to post pictures... So I can't show you the puppet(I'll try an unlisted youtube video). For the wire, woud floral wire do the trick?
I'm making a bunny puppet for my little sister's birthday (wich is tomorrow, I need help quickly) and I need to add a tooth, I wonder if there are any better ways than just hot-glueing the top of the tooth (which is made of craft foam) to the mouth.
Thanks :)
I use spoons for eyes for furry monster puppets, when I attach them I usually try to use hot glue, but that sometimes only glues to the fur, and not to the base where the fur is "anchored" so I was wondering what the best way for attaching them is.
Hi, I've been using the project puppet patterns for a while now, and I'm starting to feel limited with what I can do... So I was wondering if someone could give me some pattern making tips?
Thanks in advance,
ma0928
thanks, everyone but the half sphere eyes are not really what im looking for, i'm looking for something like cookie monsters eyes, to stand on top of the puppet like on my profile pic, thanks
I'm going to be working on a monster puppet soon, and I was wondering, what can you use for large eyes? i'm looking for something like a 2 in diameter that I can use for an eye, thanks!
Ahhh, I see so the gasket rubber is like the stiffened felt when you use the glorified sock pattern from project puppet. (what I've used so far)
One other question, does the felt wrinkle when you bend the mouth plate?
So, what you are saying is that you use the put the rubber and felt like this
"F"
R
"F"
F=felt
R=Rubber
"=extra
And then sew the two glued pieces of felt to the fleece?
Hi, I've been thinking of making a flexible mouth for my next puppet and I read that gasket rubber is a good choice, my question is, sense I've just used felt for the mouth so far and with the rubber there is no way that you can sew It on to the head so, then how do you attach the mouth plate...
What stitch did you use there? Or did you use a machine? I really thought that anti pill fleece would not hide seams because it doesn't pill. Does blizzard fleece work that well to?
