What happened to the theory of the humans being like family to the muppets?
First of all, they're not showing much of the humans anymore, and has Snuffy been in the same area with the other monsters at all this season? I haven't been keeping up, but I remember that there was an argument of...
Hmm... Could it be because of all the controversy that has been going around about those two? I don't think they've made any new sketches with them for awhile.
Anyway, I think my favourite sketch has to be the "I Rock Myself To Sleep" one, even though it's a song too.
I used to like that one African Muppet. I think his name was Alexander? Hasn't been on there for awhile though.
I think my overall favourite would be Bert and Ernie as well. They've become less and less into the script though.
Today I saw episode #4076 and it was about Curly bear being able to raor louder than Baby Bear. When he shows that blue muppet ( Which loses his top garments by the way! ), is that the same muppet used for the guy Grover used to bother a lot ( Like in many episodes, and old holiday specials )?
You know what? I agree with you. The new season that came out is LOADS better than season 34. I think the producers have finally got it to their heads that we don't want as much as Elmo.
Actually, today, when I saw it, Elmo was not even in the actual show until his segment. Oscar has his own...
Yeah, plus, aren't they not allowed to do a lot of things since Jim Henson died? They've lost too much money aswell, and just think of how many DVDs they would have to produce for each season!
I would try seeing if IMDB has some of the cast/crew's agent phone numbers, fax, etc. They probably would be more than welcomed to ask them to see if they'd like to share any information with you.
Well, see, Jim Henson owns them, but he's dead. That makes it harder for them to do that. Plus, since the new technology is out, they would have to edit the shows to the quality today, and since there's LOADS of them, it would take years to do.
Okay, so maybe I WAS wrong, but I get all your points that you all made out. At the case of the "heck, what they hey, etc" words, most teachers are not appreciated at kids using those words nowadays. Most of the time they'll be sent out of the room, or put in the corner. So that's why I made...
Well, they COULD, but it costs LOADS to have a station run old episodes of shows that were back in the 60's. They would have to pay about a thousand more proabably, and I don't think the Workshop could handle that. They can't even use old muppets because they cost way too much now.
Yes, I remember seeing RESCUE 911 when I was younger. I also remembered that my old babysitter didn't have any of the fancy cartoon channels like Cartoon Network and such. Although she did have the really violent channels. I never liked watching TV that much anyway. There's just too much now...
