This bears repeating, but it's not just the voice! the voice is a very small part of it, It's the personality, and mannerisms that's the issue here. He is just not the same Kermit, and that has nothing to do with Matt's prefromance, but anyone other then Jim or Steve is going to be different...

Actually my friend Link has apparently already been recast. He is set to apper in a new Pigs in Space bit at the Hollywood bowl. Along with Beaker in a new Muppet Labs bit as well.

Rizzo is Steve's original character. It's going to take a lot of time before he is recast. Me personally I don't think he should be recast unless Steve OK's it. Which I'm almost sure he won't.

Why? I'm not saying that Matt is not a great preformer. He has done awesome with Uncle Deadly, Floyd and all of Jerry's characters. Steve and Jerry both took Matt to Disney and said that they wanted him to start doing Jerry's characters. So that they could be permanently recast and not bounced...

You say Steve needed to be replaced!!! Bull! Steve even said himself he felt he was in the prime of his career! He was no where near ready to retire, and should not have been replaced.

Peter is really steping up at Sesame! Taking on Ernie and now offically Harry. It's great because These are two fan favorites that have been needing a huge comback!
